That's a random Bluesky thread. Before Trump's election win - the site was small enough (relatively speaking) that comment threads tended to have many top posts that were clever, funny, and incisive. Now the users are like redditors who are older and have a mortgage. An example is the top comment.
So "Proud" they hide their faces in shame.

I don't spend time on Threads - but maybe my Reddit comment was wrong and the site is more like a version of Threads.
threads is twitter for instagram users who’d be too scared to use twitter if they couldn’t access it directly from IG, a lot of the cranks there are relatively less politically charged than the ones on twitter and more into classic new age/conspiracist stuff but that’s pretty much all I know abt it
