Also its a luxury that most western democracies don't require boiling water...
We had to boil water when we were in China lol
That's what they were saying
Marijuana.
I don't understand why you are getting downvoted
Exactly. I relate
Because "haha I do drugs" isn't the flex some people think it is.
Its a question about luxury items. As a smoker myself I would consider it a luxury and it would be one of the first things I cut if I had a pay cut or some sort of emergency
In some places marijuana is legalised, and not stigmatised to the same degree as other drugs.
Main-character types that think their exception is rule enough to be bitter.
People who use marijuana are like your stereotypical vegans or Arch uses. Never pass on the opportunity to tell you.
Hey! As a vegan stoner, I resent that. I use an Arch-derivative (EndeavourOS btw).
You can up your trifecta to a quadrella if you also do Crossfit.
Unlimited power!
As a non vegan marijuana smoker I want to let you know that i exclusively use Fedora.
Coffee
Same here. Wifey got me a Trade subscription maybe 3 years ago for Xmas and every 3 weeks or so I try a brand new single origin coffee I've never had before. (Except the one from India that tasted like pineapple! That one I ordered twice before it was gone.) It is $20 every 3 weeks since I drink one a day, but this week I switch up to the big bag so we could both enjoy it. That took it up to $50, but now it's a full 2 pounds instead of 10 oz. (That's 280g to 900g.)
Ham for ham sandwiches.
Good chocolade. Not the stuff you can get in a supermarket, but from specialty chocolate shops, or from chocolatiers themselves. While it can be quite expensive per bite compared to ordinary chocolate a single quality chocolate can already give you a very luxurious feeling, so if you have some disposable income available it doesn't have to break the bank.
Life is too short to eat bad chocolate.
A second bicycle.
coffee shop drinks
i try to make my own at home but i buy individual drinks for anything that's too expensive in "bulk" like good quality matcha or certain flavours.
i feel so spoiled walking around drinking my one-a-month iced pistacho white chocolate matcha latte with oat milk </3
Powdered Iced Tea packages.
This crap is poison, full of artificial sweeteners and other chemicals, but water is just so bland.
Disposable wipes for my glasses that I can keep in my backpack.
I bough a box of 100 Zeiss wipes in walmart, I like them, it's pretty cheap.
I have a cleaning cloth on a carabiner. It's meant for camera lenses but it's great for my glasses.
A good water bottle, that keeps ice in the bottle for two days. Cost like $80 a couple years ago but it’s a HUGE luxury imo, waking up thirsty in the middle of the night and always having ice cold water available is priceless
Books.
The cheapest?
I um, rebuild my own vape coil. Thing is, I know that's a rather outdated concept, but one fine day, I ran out of coils, remembered I had a rebuildable for this device and just... never went back?
4 inches of wire, and a clump of cotton. I usually never rebuild the wire and just install new cotton.
So, ~$0.05 therabouts.
Coffee(3USD). Whiskey(3-12USD). A slightly fancier used motorbike (1100USD instead of 400) and the more expensive brand of tires.
I feel like the bike is a luxury, but the tires are a necessity, lol
Knipex Cobra 250 pliers cost about 30 euros and are the best pliers money can buy.
Tissues. Such a small thing in the house, but a world of difference on the nose compared to toilet paper or other options. When money is tight tissues, amongst other things, are one of the first to be cut from spending.
I have a Uni Kuru Toga mechanical pencil that I bought perhaps 20 years ago. For about $7. And it still works great.
I shop deals at my local market. I can usually get the fancy coffee that's about to expire 2 for 1. I just keep it in the freezer to last longer.
Ive been considering buying a lanyard for my ecig for about 8 months now. Can't justify it.
I guess 1$ case for Smartphone or any other 1$ crap Nobody needs…
