I was watching a truecrime thing with my mother when she was sick the other day and they kept dancing around calling one of the suspects a nazi and instead called them "odinists" and how they were 'interested in runes and come from white-majority de-industrialized areas with growing inequality'.

Only anti-israel action threatens their interests.

They're in the tricky situation where they can't even mention any actual instances of antisemitism in leftist spaces, because if they'd do that the cognitive dissonance between that supposedly being a massive problem and what you commonly see literally everywhere else would hit too hard.

The right wing as a whole is such a sacred cow to people. Very rarely is it criticized and when it is, it is always done begrudgingly in the spirit of fairness after criticizing the left in a “muh both sides” move. You can NEVER criticize the right on its own. It’s just not socially acceptable to say you dislike the right.

But criticism of the left? Constant and enthusiastic. You can do that and never mention the right.

This is before Larry/David Ellison have taken control of CNN. Ellisons bought Warner Bros which owns CNN, so it's going to get even worse.

It's so irritating. You'll find this behavior with a lot of Zionists. I lurk /r/Judaism (self inflicted psychic damage tbh) which was decent until 10/7 because it focused mostly on Judaism but now you see a bunch of comments complaining about how dangerous antisemitism is on the left.

And I'm like y'all need to worry about the right because they openly want to gas us all, and they shoot up synagogues, but you're upset because a pride march didn't let you fly an Israeli flag.
