WokePalpatine
I think if he showed any amount of disability, humility, current poorness, etc. you might have a small point. But as far as I have seen from the clips and couple videos I've seen, he doesn't. He doesn't seem to even think it's a problem. Does he even address or complain about the criticisms at all? He seems weirdly unfazed about the things people say about him that are actually fucking whack about him, but hyper-focuses on culture war shit he can use to keep making videos.
It's getting harder and harder to do that with more compromises required. With consoles anyway. With PC it's mostly just waiting for the Denuvo license to expire with games, I guess. And either deleting games a lot or buying a massive amount of storage.
Like, you used to be able to buy the pirated game discs at corner stores or whatever while a console was still being sold. And now you need to keep up with a stable DNS host to make sure your hard/soft-modded console doesn't accidentally connect to servers so your console doesn't get banned and need to torrent specific kinds of game rips hosted only online and the tethered hacking method has like a 10% failure rate or something.
Watching the VHS horror anthologies. I probably shouldn't have bothered. I watched the first one around the time it released and thought it was just barely OK. VHS Viral is one of the most annoying movies I've ever seen. The constant misogyny in the first 3 VHS movies was intolerable, but seems to be getting better from 4 onward.
I don't get why the stories suck so consistently though. Are they specifically trying to get writers/directors who are fresh? Like almost every single segment feels like a first draft or someone's first horror short where there's maybe an OK premise but they can't do a good end and most of the playtime is wasted on people talking about nothing. You think they'd understand time is at a premium and they should use it more wisely. And also if they're trying to stay low budget you think they'd write the stories to not rely on FX reveals so often.
Like there's one short that's from the camera view of a cyborg person who's been created/mutated by some Indonesian scientist-engineer guy and people keep freaking out when they see them and it was obvious to me to have people keep doing that and maybe you see a shadow/silhouette but never get to actually see what they look like. You get to see another person this happened to anyway so you have an idea. They spent more time and money to tell a worse story.
Is there a way to get rid of the ideological differences in the first place? I get the material differences along the lines of indigenous land, patriarchy, etc. But a lot of the online "left" schisms are people adopting fake ideologies that evaporate upon sunlight.
Only windows in the building are the ones in my office, for obvious reasons.
Central/South America makes sense. I do not understand west-Africa when you'd probably get those chainsaws even more cheaply somewhere in Asia, unless it's a language barrier issue.
Exactly what I mean. The biggest weasels on this site are the ones who complain about "not being red charitably". Maybe don't post like a know-it-all if you want people to take your posts seriously.
I'm sure there are decent "pre-built that's actually good" reviews online from like Reddit and GamerNexus and stuff. I wouldn't look at it on a brand level but on a case-by-case basis.
