My ass just sits at the coffee shop and exists. No one bothers me. Shit sometimes I wouldn’t mind if someone did.
was on my way home with the tram once, random lady sat across the... walking thingy (corridor? walkway?) and kept talking to me even though i was trying to chill. she didnt seem to care that i had earphones in to begin with and that i was trying to shut down the conversation constantly. she just kept going. that was the longest most unpleasant public transport ride i ever had.
One day I'll have the courage to directly shut people like that down. Without being condescending or making a scene but just being clear that I'm not interested.
