I’ve swapped back and forth between Reddit and Lemmy for probably a year/year and a half, a month ago I just finally made the full switch. Biggest thing that held me back was the lack of constant content but I’ve just decided to accept it, spent too much time in Reddit anyways.
Agreed. I still browse old to see what the mainstream narratives are, but I will never log into an account ever again.
I honestly don't know. But I look for videos and pictures to archive on the Fediverse and saw someone complaining about this ad they saw.
There are memes and communities I am still waiting for them to move here ;_;

Ok.....hear me out. We all join ICE, but then we BARELY do our jobs. And we agree to do whatever they say. Then we don't do it. We clog up the system from the inside with insubordination. But we do it in a way that makes them think we're trying to follow orders, and are just really really stupid.

We just gotta act like idiots who mean well in their racist system, but keep screwing up.

The 50k is a bonus, and they get to keep it if they serve 5 years. The 30k is a signing incentive, and may or may not have similar restrictions (likely does).

"The government" is (or at least was, not anymore) very stable and reliable, even though you can't get as much as you could in the private sector. However Trump and this regime are notorious for cheating their workers. I just wanted to make that distinction.
