Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

They had someone build them a hyper realistic simulation of what embarrassing might feel like to a regular person.
How are they just now getting embarrassed?
They presented a fucking 'peace' prize to a fascistic dictator and convicted rapist. They're a fucking laughing stock right alongside the orange degenerate.

Where was the "embarrassment" when they had the world cup in Russia in 2018 and when they had it in Qatar? Ultimately embarrassment ought to result in action but I'm not sure it will here.
From what I have heard this last decade fifa is about the only organization as openly and shamelessly corrupt as the president.
Boycott the World Cup, boycott the Olympics, boycott America.

Imported canned tomatoes were cheaper than domestic versions at my grocery store last week. Soon, it may even be possible to boycott America from inside! 🤣
These and the Olympics are going to be like the 1936 Olympics, but like a farcical tragicomedy.

Just like when it was the Qatar World Cup, I refuse to watch it or talk about it.
FIFA are giving peace prizes? Why? Their sense of importance is astounding. They need to get back to grassroots.
It's just bribery. Give Trump something shiny and expensive with "Trump is great" written on it and he'll treat you favorably.
It doesn't last long, though. He already forgot about it after Machado gave him real Nobel peace prize, if not sooner.

Fifa want trump to change "soccer" to "football" and trump wanted a peace prize.
So FIFA made up a peace prize and gave it to trump.
And for like an afternoon trump rambled about how football should mean the same in America as everywhere else. But his followers didn't latch on to it because no one in maga gives a fuck about soccer.
Fifa gained nothing, and made people hate them even more. I really don't know why Europe doesn't just make their own. FIFA has been corrupt and holding the sport back for decades.

Are they afraid their fake award is going to lose credibility because they gave it to the person they made it up for and he doesn’t deserve it?
FIFA should take their peace prize and shove it. I hope they lose a lot of money on this year's world cup.

My first thought when reading the title was that he could also claim the Fifa World Cup Trophy. It was meant to be a joke, but now I am not so sure that it won't happen :-)
