"this video is serious, it's about reddit moderation"
oh baby what is you doing?
Is this one of the ones that turned the sub into a coordinated right-wing harassment project?
Yeah, he's a middle-manager of the harassment apparatus.
The sub is moderated by Destiny-fans. They boost clips on the subreddit that support Destiny. The sub is probably also pro-Zionism. I think they probably also promoted the Hasan shock-collar conspiracy theory.
Stale2000 was the top mod of the subreddit but I think there are other still other mods on r/livestreamfail that are Destiny-aligned.
I have commented about it a couple times before.
This still looks like something out of Tim and Eric
Maybe I Think You Should Leave too
T&E Awesome Show Skit: Dirk Kick, internet cop
It's an opportunity to say it once more: how the word "influencer" is used so casually and neutrally by everyday people baffles me. How long would it take to become normal if a few cute celebrities said "Hi, I'm a manipulator! I get paid to control public opinion for companies :D "
"Content" is almost as odious for how blatantly non-descriptive it is.
"Destiny aligned" ascribes far more importance that dipshit deserves. Just say fascist. I unironically hate being reminded of that wall splatter.
The concept of "destiny-aligned" is even more pathetic. By Destiny-aligned, I meant that Stale2000 is a prominent member of Destiny's private chat rooms. He talks to Destiny regularly. He moderates the r/livestreamfail subreddit to secretly promote Destiny.
A few years ago, Stale2000 made a video for a contest to be named as Destiny's favorite chatter of the year. The video is deleted now.
"Oooh look at me I'm friends with this fascist streamer!" So fucking pathetic. Cool dood I am friends with a bunch of actually revolutionary mfers eat a dick.
it's a key detail to the story. it's not an accomplishment. It shows that Destiny's community organized secret astroturfing campaigns which frequently appear on the front page of reddit.
They also did harassment campaigns against internet figures who spoke out against Israel and against Zionism.
My favorite responses from the video:
The CIA couldn't have gotten this out of me with a car battery.
I swear to god we all entered in some crazy alternate universe after that fucking gorilla was shot
I'm watching Hasan talk about this right now and its just so weird lmao

Moist Critikal made a video about this and it's very quickly approaching 1 million views. Though Moist doesn't mention that the reddit mod is a Destiny orbitter.
Though Moist doesn't mention that the reddit mod is a Destiny orbitter.
Given that he also hop on the shock collar theory, its not hard to imagine why.
Fucking centrist scumbag. Didn't he even claim he would stop making content on drama/politics or something at some point? I guess grifting to the chuds was just too profitable
So that’s why that sub has anti-Hasan shit on the front page every day
It's very much a coordinated smear effort. Hasan's takes and positions are flawed, but I think people to his left should offer him a lot of grace because of what he personally has to go through while being a prominent supporter of Palestinian liberation, basic socdem domestic policies, platforming anti-imperial positions, and regularly mentioning PSL on his stream in a positive light.
This does not mean he is above criticism, it means that just like other figures, the criticism must be distinguished from the existing right-wing hate brigades.
I know this is at least lookism-adjacent (there has to be a better word than lookism) but I find it absolutely hilarious when dudes look like their stereotypes. If I were to draw a "destiny subreddit moderator who promotes a scam" then that's the type of guy I'd probably end up drawing.

Like an exaggerated version of a Reddit moderator stereotype that somehow does not go far enough
That subreddit is a cesspit of reactionaries. Every time i've looked in there I've seen very little difference between the takes they have with the takes of asmongold's crowd.
Hexbear's disdain for bodyshaming leaving the body the moment they see this guy

I appreciate the neoliberals consistently shooting themselves in the foot by being too greedy and/or creepy to even keep the grift together in a stable way.
Dammit, I wish I could get the closed captions to leave off "summarize". This would make such a great emoji if it was just this face with "Reddit moderators should be treated like celebrities or influencers" under it.

turn off the CC, take a cap at the same moment and just edit the two images together

Posters who edit images for :moderators: emojis should be treated like celebrities and influencers.

You can also pause at the right moment and use the inspect element tool of your browser to edit the caption text.
I think stitching it together looks passable enough, but when I replaced the text for Lemmy mods manually (Tacoma was the closest font I had) it definitely looks off. I might go back and do this route.

Why does he...look like that? I'm having trouble figuring out what I'm seeing, the lighting he is using is messing with my head.
The video is definitely being run through an AI to 'clean up' his appearance/complexion. Strange patterns sometimes appear on the shirt when he moves. Makes him look like a wax model or a video game npc.
Oh, that's what it is! Thankyou!
I have never been so happy as I am now having no idea who any of these people are or what their drama is about
Someone said he had a comment criticizing Vaush's appearance during the Vaush/Destiny beef.
Vaush may be a piece of shit and a nonce that looks like 2012 bartender that lists himself as a "Mixologist" on Tinder and has a Mumford and Sons tattoo, but that's still better than this dude.
with respect to that sex predator and his circle.

Not bothering to watch or read, under communism this man would be sentenced to a shower and a queer eye makeover but he has to wear a ball gag the whole time because everything about him is a fashion war crime and I don't trust him to not use slurs.
That man is too smooth. I don't like it.

Something about the texture of that screenshot looks like AI
Convergent evolution between LLM slop and Reddit mods.
Has this person been doxxed now?
Can you imagine how fucking jealous this man must be of Hasan? This guy would be someone who cares about looks and the whole manosphere. I can picture how much he must seethe that Hasan looks like a himbo
I don't think he's hiding his identity. In the video he says his name is Bryan and he lives in San Fransisco. His twitter says his name is Bryan Wade. He used to work as a developer for twitch.
https://www.linkedin.com/in/brcwade
He's been a harasser of Hasan for a while. His reddit created the dog shock collar conspiracy theory.
Before destiny's followers took over LSF, there was a rule that submitted clips could not be edited and only direct links to twitch could be submitted. He changed the subreddit rules so that people could submit edited deceptive clips of Hasan's streams.
Destiny's community was also collaborating with Congressman Ritchie Torres to try to force Hasan to speak in front of congress. They wanted Congress to punish Hasan for being anti-Israel.
There's a video of Stale2000 saying that he's trying to coverup Destiny's pedophilia allegations by asking Destiny supporters to submit pro-Destiny video clips to the r/livestreamfail subreddit.
