Every single one of these motherfuckers needs to be shot in the face. Every single one of them.

This is the moderate position, btw.

The Black Panthers were formed to protect citizens from the rampaging, out-of-control Oakland Police Department.

The Panthers would monitor traffic stops. Standing guard with loaded shot-guns.

That's because the Black Panther's were leftists, not liberals.

That is some serious drip. Also yeah someone should try that again.

Violence is never a solution.

...

Except when it is.

People who say that violence is never the answer are just asking the wrong fucking questions.

[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 6 points 23 hours ago

Violence is not the answer. It's the question. And the answer is yes.

Imagine something going wrong here, like a balloon pop in the background. These guys would probably just massacre everyone.

😂.

As Hernandez approached the passenger side door of his patrol car, he heard a popping sound which he later told investigators he perceived to be a gunshot. And he said he believed he had been hit.

“He began yelling ‘shots fired’ multiple times, falling to the ground and rolling,” the sheriff’s report said. “He fired into the patrol car.”

Lmao cops are ridiculous...

Yeah. Hahaha! What silly little guys that are given legal weapons and trained to perceive everything around them as a lethal threat! They're so funny with how they murder people over nothing and are almost never held to account. How ridiculous! /s

He heard an acorn fall and then tried to kill the person he left defenseless in his patrol car over it. I don't know why that's funny. Stupid, yes. Funny, absolutely not.

that is a credible threat to their safety, they would be entirely justified to shoot him after he puts his gun away as a response to what he did

remember, you're allowed (nay, encouraged) to shoot to disarm your stated perceived threat after the claimed perceived danger has passed

One time I visited Kent State University, and one of the plaques there talked about how, after the massacre, a group of students were planning to reassemble to mourn the victims and continue the protest. One of the professors shouted something along the lines of, "They're just gonna kill you all!" and desperately begged and pleaded for them to disperse, not because he disagreed with their cause, but because he understood that they would be throwing their lives away.

The students were convinced. When the first gunshots had rung out, most of them thought they were firing blanks to intimidate them. They couldn't imagine that the guards would simply open fire with live rounds on a crowd of unarmed students. But afterwards, it was obvious that they would have no restraint, no matter how peacefully they mourned.

He should get the same charges I would get if I did the same thing. I am not 100% sure what those would be, because my penis is not an innie, but I am confident it wouldn't be nothing.
