Disband the entire DHS, they don’t do shit and they fail repeatedly at what their stated goals are and they are redundant copies of agencies that already exist. In particular, every TSA and ICE personnel should be put to work repairing our pitifully degraded infrastructure.
That won’t happen of course, because the purpose of DHS and it’s branch agencies is to put down domestic uprisings when the ruling class drives us into a series of existential crises.

One of my colleagues described a conversation they had with their wife wherein she said “you’re my best friend”, and he responded with “I’m not your friend I’m your husband”. I bet that made her feel good.
They are doing this deliberately to keep Americans confused, and so the biased can pick the narrative that best suits them. Americans are very superficially engaged in what’s happening abroad, so any propaganda will do until it becomes an existential crisis.

Sure this will benefit oil producers in the west writ large, and I’m not sure of the capacity of any refineries in North America to process Venezuelan crude, but Canada will not be able to offset losses in global oil production, so the cost of petroleum will increase regardless.
That’s not how the global oil market works. GCC is essential to maintain global demand and intersectional interests of many countries.
