This is interesting—it implies he intentionally committed suicide while also implicating Trump as a fellow sex offender.
It's the suicide reference that caught my attention too. Perhaps he was given no alternative.
If you're not dead, no one cares.
If you're dead, it now explicitly ties the person who pressured you to do it to your own crimes.
I think he even sent it to such a shit stain of a person just for optics. Maybe even to a known bad address knowing it won't bounce back till you did it?
But still, pretty sure they read mail both out and into prisons...
So it's weird this was postmarked days ahead of time. It makes it look like he was allowed to commit suicide and had no motive to hide it.
I think it's one of those "two clever by half" things. He wanted to be subtle and sprinkle implications, but an actual video tape of trump doing horrible things wouldn't even matter now.
Epstein does sound like an unbearably pretentious and self-important man, even apart from all the abuse of minors. And he surrounded himself with other unbearably self-important men.

The sitting president of the United States of America is a child rapist.
And conservatives are rallying behind that child rapist.
Conservativism itself says that everyone is part of a strict social hierarchy, and that those above have complete power over those below.
Which makes the "ideology" incredibly attractive to a certain type of predator.
Movie version: Thousands of pages of perfectly redacted and edited papers come out, and one tiny detail leads to unraveling of the entire conspiracy, reveals the perpetrators, and brings down an entire corrupt empire.
Reality: Everything is so blatantly incompetently being doctored in broad daylight - like a child claiming he didn't eat the cookies while in the process of eating the cookies, that everyone is actually too stunned by the absurdity to do anything.

To anyone reading, “destroyed permanently” refers to the murders and suicides, not the survivors. That is never the language we use for survivors, no matter how atrocious the particulars, because it reinforces the same purity culture that purveys (1) a great deal of the associated suffering, trauma, and stigma, and (2) the obsession with defilement that many rapists share.

Oh wow. I looked at the raw contents of a couple pdfs, but those ones were done properly so I just assumed it was a dead end.

If he did, why the hell would they go through all the trouble of claiming the tapes were lost, then releasing obviously doctored footage, and putting out some shitty animation passed as the real thing? Seems like it would have been unnecessary.
I believe he was on suicide watch. The prison guards would have been implicated as complicit if the whole thing was on camera.
Well, yeah. He was on suicide watch, but also right before he was to testify, just happened he was given a bit of time where the prison guards left him alone, and the tapes “stopped” recording. Assisted or not that’s at best negligence and coincidence, at worst actively complicit and planned.

I've always leaned toward suicide over assassination.
The assasination scenario is very Hollywood, but everyone in this administration is pretty incompetent and it would be pretty ballsy for someone with access to Epstein to do it. It's just not as likely as suicide, when the guy was looking at being behind bars for eternity.

I expected incompetence would end up releasing some of what wasn't intended to be released. Now we have this, and the poorly "redacted" PDF files.

Trump isn’t referenced by name. The AI scanner probably missed it. This letter almost appears as if it was expressly written to implicate Trump.
So it was a plant by Biden to both implicate trump AND cover up the murder of friend of the president Jeffrey Epstein. How diabolical!

I've been somewhat avoiding the news (for my sanity), but I have heard that some of the PDFs turned out to be badly redacted and the original text is accessible programmatically. Do you happen to have a link to one? I'm a developer and have worked with PDFs extensively in the past. I'd love to delve into one and un-redacted it.
