Should probably be operating on the assumption that political groups are being infiltrated at small size. The cops in the UK aim to infiltrate groups when they're smaller than 10 members and we have documented court evidence of infiltration of simple reading groups below 5 members.

I was curious what Wikipedia has on the Turtle Island Liberation Front. A page? Nope. A section? Nope. All I could find was a tiny bit of info on the page for the list of unsuccessful terrorist plots in the United States post-9/11
December 15, 2025 • Four individuals associated with radical "Order of the Black Lotus" faction of the little-known, far-left Turtle Island Liberation Front were arrested for allegedly planning a series of backpack bombings in southern California. The alleged plot targetted American companies and was allegedly planned for New Year's Eve, with bombs simultaneously exploding at midnight.
I scrolled up a bit to see if there was anything noteworthy. There was. It's pretty obvious the guy was white and I assume he looked like the average Walmart shopper.
October 5, 2023 • Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison, Wisconsin • A 43-year-old local man [Joshua Pleasnick] showed up to the State Legislature with a handgun demanding to see the governor, and was arrested, only to return later in the day with an assault rifle, in which he was arrested again, with nobody being harmed in both incidents.

this has been the case with nearly every single 'terror plot' since 9/11/2001, and likely many prior.. IIRC the original WTC bombing had some FBI involvement as well.
