I went to her profile expecting her to be the usual brainbroken conservative, and instead she's like, complaining about a reply getting removed because it had the F slur in it, but she also replied to one of Elon's AI-generated videos about his Tesla robot saying "Get the fuck out of here with this clanker bullshit", so I respect it.
I've gotta think this is satire. Any American that's ever had a burger has to know they charge more for a cheeseburger than a regular hamburger, regardless of the cheese type.

Not at this cheeseburger grill near me. They charge an extra dollar to "remove the cheese"... I think it's just a charge for a special order because adding a topping or basically any change also costs a dollar.

I would be more offended at being served American "cheese".
Many people swear by american cheese on burgers, but I just can't do it. Cheddar is far superior.
American cheese is just mild cheddar and colby jack, with an emulsifier added to help it blend together and melt smoothly. You can literally make bootleg American cheese by shredding the two together, adding an emulsifier (like sodium citrate) and heating until they melt.
That same emulsifier is what makes it so good for burgers. Aged cheddar tends to melt into clumps, and tends to get greasy as the milk fat separates out of the solids. The emulsifier helps the cheese solids and oils stay together, making it less clumpy and greasy.

American cheese without the colorant, thus perfectly healthy
American cheese isn't a bad thing when it's the amalgam of several other cheeses. When it's just oil and binders it isn't even cheese though. There's no good way to know before buying it since they can call both cheese.

It depends but technically yes. American cheese is pretty simple, one or multiple cheeses blended with sodium citrate and some milk to create a very smoothly melting cheese. I actually made some myself last night by melting a bunch of very sharp cheddar cheese into some milk and adding a few slices of a decent American cheese to get the sodium citrate. I basically made a really good borderline cheese whiz for the sandwiches I made.
Kraft Singles, (which is what everyone likely has in mind for plastic fake cheese) however don't contain enough cheese as an ingredient to call the final product an actual cheese, there is a lot of milk powder added in that tips the ratios into cheese product territory.

I do remember one night I was high as fuck and went to Ruby Tuesdays or TGI Fridays or IDGAF Thursdays or something, and there was this party of four that were just the drunkest, rowdiest, gayest men I think I had ever seen. Like, name a gay stereotype, there were at least 2 of them at the table.
Anyways they had a rant about Michelob Ultras, and it was probably the funniest conversation I ever overheard. I completely forgot about until I looked at the receipt and it jogged my memory. It became a meme among a group of friends I broke ties with like a dozen years ago. Now all I remember is Michelob Ultra and that's it. Also, I'm high as fuck now. Weird how that works.
