I'm seeing a pretty grim trend in the metal community, where old opponents of organized religion suddenly have become religious.

Its because Christianity is the religion of white supremacy now, clearer than day, and thats what these people are.

There is definitely stronger links between religion and white supremacy in the us. But us is not even half of the Christians in the world. Most of which are black och hispanic.

I really well and truly do not care for no true scottsman arguments. Some christians are horrible people. They're still christian even if they're hypocrites, because every religious person inherently is because no one could possibly follow every single one of their rules, and in fact in many instances the rules themselves demand people pick and choose.
But you where completely fine in making that argument when it came to islam. Why is that? Other than the likely fact that you come the US and have a different relationship with that religion.

I'm talking about people that absolutely are not racist, they are some of the few in society that stood up to religious norms in a time when they where ostrasized for it. They where simply against religion and fought against it. I want them to fight the powers that be again.
Kind of like some of the Iranian guys that fled here after being arrested for wearing metal shirts in Teheran. They still have warrants out for 14 year old sentences. But they still play and they are on the right side of things.

The groups you mentioned, the point of my post, most likely changed to christianity as they want to align with what white supremacy has choosen as the white supremacy religion.
Your example with arab supremacy makes no sense, because there is no arab supremacy in the US making islam their religion.

I don't think I know a single person, male or female, who'd rather their son be a pedophile or a rapist instead of gay...
You can't imagine a person who would excuse getting someone so drunk they no longer refuse sex as "boys will be boys" behavior or similar nonsense, but would express actual disapproval of their child entering a same-sex relationship? It doesn't just mean "convicted of assaulting a young white woman at gunpoint".

There are tens of millions of people in the states making excuses for rapists and creeps while demanding the rights be stripped from gay people.
The biggest probably is that they don’t consider half of those things to be real problems and will do as much mental gymnastics as possible to get away from that. A adult fucks a minor but marries them and suddenly it’s “love” and ok by them and they don’t ever need to think any harder about it. They can rage against pedophilia to their hearts content because to them those things are not the same but if a dude dresses better than shit and likes to draw they’ll bust out “GAY” as an insult.

Yeah I'm also not in the States but I'm seeing an increase of people who support the folks who would likely try the same evil shit here because of stuff like "they'll deal with the queers".
I do not fear my son being gay in the slightest. I only want him to be happy. Also, if he happens to be gay or trans, what with the current climate in society and all the hate coming from the right... it's when he would need me as a supportive dad the most.
There's SO much of all of those in the Bible I imagine they feel more comfortable writing that off as a "little whoopsie" but GOOD LORD if you're gay that's a direct reflection on my failure as a parent, how could I ever show up to the annual pot luck dinner knowing my child made me look bad?
