If we just go hog wild with "its just a meme" we end up with the far right. Thats a huge part of how they latched onto the social common ground for white men online.

"It's just a meme!" for generalizing large groups of people is shitty, particularly when it seems many believe the implied demographic level of popularity of said meme.

Your "Lol. Get a grip." in response to this is anti thought.
