The meme is not really a falsifiable statement and it doesn't need to be.
Sure it is. Its obvious what its implying even if its left with some plausible deniability.
I hate this weak minded shit where people don't just say what they mean for fear of criticism, and so they just leave a convenient motte to retreat behind.
Do you expect every meme to be backed up with demographic data? Or are you just prickly that someone suggested that homophobia exists and you need to argue about something?
Motte and Bailey. Lol. Get a grip.
If we just go hog wild with "its just a meme" we end up with the far right. Thats a huge part of how they latched onto the social common ground for white men online.
"It's just a meme!" for generalizing large groups of people is shitty, particularly when it seems many believe the implied demographic level of popularity of said meme.
Your "Lol. Get a grip." in response to this is anti thought.
