Earlier, on August 28, Lukashenko announced his intention to bring several linen bags of potatoes as local souvenirs for his foreign colleagues at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in China. Then he clarified that they contained fresh potatoes grown on his subsidiary farm. It was noted that these are potatoes of domestic varieties, such as, for example, "Pershatsvet" and "Breeze".
I feel like he'd be a fun uncle figure who would be unintentionally funny but we hardly hear about him.
