Hopefully, changes can be properly implemented over time.

Their words of encouragement are getting more and more pathetic.

Starting a bit that there is an international communist conspiracy underway to slow the rotation of the earth to create a 26 hour day.

Capitalist version: A full’s day work will now be considered 10 hours. Your pay will not change

ground water is like a microcosm of climate change discourse except it's even older than the consensus on man made warming, we've been banging this warning bell and explaining the problem for decades, dealing with dozens of knock on effects but agricultural interests have never once been persuaded to rectify the central problem of overconsumption

Bit which I’m too lazy to find emotes for: “I recognize the importance of maintaining stable water supplies- even ones we can’t see!” - literally everyone including natsec ghouls

“Is there someone you forgot to ask?” - these dried up porkies and donny

[–] Abracadaniel@hexbear.net 9 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (2 children)

this is fine, actually.

also sea level rise, but where? and it can't be everywhere so where does it decrease, and by how much?

[–] Nakoichi@hexbear.net 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I think that is missing the point that we are using up so much ground water it tilted the earths axis.

[–] Abracadaniel@hexbear.net 2 points 2 days ago

oh for sure, not a great sign.

[–] barrbaric@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

Something to do with water shifting to the new equator, apparently, but I can't find more details anywhere.

[–] segfault11@hexbear.net 6 points 2 days ago

[–] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

[–] dat_math@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

very excited to learn where the critical points are in the dynamics connecting the displacement of this water to changes in earth's volcanism
