Its kinda default and expected for Americans online to think theyre the only country with the internet, Brits always stand out cause they do the same while living in an unimportant country.

Brits always stand out cause they do the same while living in an unimportant country.

They’re so fucking annoying, and it’s easy to spot one online, that stench of unearned arrogance can be whiffed through the fucking screen.

A century of real humiliation is due, this country needs to be turned into a storage facility

2ND MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 42 points 1 month ago (2 children)

[–] jack@hexbear.net 8 points 1 month ago

we're talking about the UK, not the US

[–] FunkyStuff@hexbear.net 58 points 1 month ago (1 children)

i-think-that Hamas should be allowed to do another Oct 7 to Britain because that would be funny.

"You care about people being exterminated more than poor mass transit in one country? You sound insane"

[–] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 32 points 1 month ago (1 children)

maybe this guy's transit board meetings are swarmed by Palestine activists

because Siemens is BDS

[–] Robert_Kennedy_Jr@hexbear.net 18 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I used to know someone that worked for Siemens and I still don't know what the fuck they do other than building gas chambers for the Nazis.

In my head it's appliances and trains

[–] barrbaric@hexbear.net 1 points 1 month ago

They do mostly industrial control systems from what I've seen.

[–] BoxedFenders@hexbear.net 47 points 1 month ago

I often wonder why the state of transport infrastructure in the UK isn't headline news on every international news outlet. Why cover an ongoing genocide when there is the more pressing matter of inconvenienced Britons?

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 41 points 1 month ago

They're calling it the most convincing human impression in years, some are saying ever

[–] FedPosterman5000@hexbear.net 41 points 1 month ago (1 children)

”i could go on…”

doubt sounds like ol Nicky was already hitting their rhetorical capacity with busting out bangers like “inability to build new stuff” and “lack of house building”

[–] quarrk@hexbear.net 28 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Issues more important than genocide:

  • I stubbed my toe this morning, and no one wept for me.
  • etc

smuglord Need I say more?

[–] chgxvjh@hexbear.net 41 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Inequality between UK regions should definitely be the primary concern of all serious western leftists.

[–] PKMKII@hexbear.net 35 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Let me guess: his solutions to those problems are, more deregulation, tax cuts for the rich, and privatization.

yeah I'd say an entire culture being effectively genocided and starved is a tad more important than having to take an extra bus between your trains.

[–] Euergetes@hexbear.net 29 points 1 month ago

if Gaza is so unimportant then why can't the political establishment cut Israel loose and deal with the more pressing matters instead of pouring resources into Israel?

TFW being reality checked by someone with EU and France flags but still crashing themselves hard on it.

Someone hasn't considered that building the foundations of your society on the oppression and colonization of others means those foundations become untenable once the colonized are freed, something that will inevitably happen because the colonized will relentlessly pursue it, and Britain's inability to do any of those things is a result of centuries of decolonization efforts (well that and losing in competition with the other big imperialist), causing the yields of its imperialist efforts to wain, meaning Britain must either double down on these imperialist endeavors or reform the basis of its society, and so decolonization efforts are of immediate and critical interest to both imperialists and those who desire social reforms, or as he puts it, making things better in Britain.

BIBBA? Bring Imperialism Back to Britain Again?

no Nick, the biggest issue the UK citizens like you are going through right now is deciding between a salted caramel frappucino and a pumpkin spiced iced latte slop in the morning to take on their way to a 9-to-5 twitter slop sesh that they call their "work" in a "workplace".... because they've already decided long ago on the "Palestinian question"...

"The western left has lost its mind on the Holocaust. It has become issue number one, which when you consider everything else happening in the world right now is totally insane. For a start..."
