Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.

Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

Not a single fucking word in that article about how he openly armed and supported a genocide for over a year.

No, no, the real tragedy is that an old white man with dementia is retiring from politics.

Probably cause the president is gonna be dead within a couple years. Either one.

[–] Rom@hexbear.net 26 points 6 months ago

Calling it now, Biden's gonna have kicked it by this time next year.

I hope they all die and turn it into a morgue for real. Come on freak asteroid event, do us all a solid and land directly on the capital mall.

Maybe it's all the corpses. Dead careers. The ghosts of thousands of Palestinian children. Who's to say?

It's a shame he didn't pardon Trump. That would have been the funniest thing ever.

After the November election, he privately mused about the idea of pardoning Trump as a magnanimous move, according to a person directly familiar with his comments, though it’s not clear he seriously considered it. A White House official said “to our knowledge, this was not raised.” [Biden] is not on speaking terms with some of his closest allies.

[...]

He is estranged from some of the people who were once among his most powerful allies. He harbors, along with first lady Jill Biden, a simmering resentment toward former President Barack Obama, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and several former aides, including Bob Bauer and Anita Dunn, all of whom he believes either failed him or pushed him out of the 2024 race, according to several people close to him.

God he's so fucking deluded to ACTUALLY THINK he could have won.

Apparently his own internal polling indicated Trump might get 400 electoral college votes.

Hey, look on the bright side, he did pardon Hunter after repeatedly saying he wouldn't, and that's pretty funny.

Only relateable thing he did, and we all know Trump would do the same (if his son(s) were convicted of a crime) lmao

I have a poor opinion of anyone who wouldn't pardon their kid over drug offenses. I can't fathom the brain rot needed to think a bunch of prison time is reasonable for hookers and blow. (I'm not a user of either)

Obama would throw anyone under the bus. Joe thought he was immune?

[–] PKMKII@hexbear.net 29 points 6 months ago

Well Biden is practically half-dead so that tracks

Lol, lmao, even.

[–] SoyViking@hexbear.net 9 points 6 months ago

Well, at the moment their job is to dispose of a corpse so the vibes checks out

One of the great tragedies of American politics: Biden

Fixed the title.
