Never been in a threesome but I'm lucky enough to have friends to have been involved in such arrangements.

On the words of a very good friend and sexually experienced woman: if the women are not the slightest interested in being with each other, there is a 90% failure chance.

MMF trios are easier to manage. Yes, men are basic amd as long as they can put their thingy inside a hole, everything is fine. Some guys will use the woman in the trio as an excuse to "feel" bisexual territory. Others will see the other as a competitor and up their game. Usually, the woman reaps the bounty.

FFM trios are trickier. If the women are in to some bisexual interaction, it can smooth things over. If not, the guy really has to go the extra mile to be available for both and deliver. And even then, the probability to let one or all parts feeling unsatisfied is very high.

Last but not least: can't say if Buttercup is playing dirty or just being kinky but... damn.

I believe in FFF threesome supremacy

There's a very relevant scene from the show Scrubs, but unfortunately my memory of it is vague and googling what I remember is just returning nurse themed porn.

Hey, if it floats your boat... great!

You're right.

Buttercup was the green one, right?

[–] dgbbad@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah, she was the bad ass.

[–] Kitathalla@lemy.lol 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Buttercup was just the concrete operations goth. Blossom was the badass. Unless you're just saying she had a bad ass, in which case, bro, why are you staring at the ass of a kindergartner?

[–] dgbbad@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 year ago

The theme song literally says she's the toughest fighter.

[–] Buddahriffic@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah, when it's just a case of 3 people who all want to fuck both of the others, it's kinda hard to go wrong.

Though it also works best if at least 2 of the participants are active lovers. Two starfishes would be more like the one person takes turns fucking the others. Three starfishes would probably just end up being a threesome agreed upon that never ends up happening.

At least one person needs to be bold enough to make a move.

Three starfishes just lie on the bed, slowly moving mere inches per hour

Hot.

[–] alx@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 1 year ago (5 children)

You might be terminally straight. I’m so sorry

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Don't want to be that guy, but it does seem kind of wrong to be OK with generalizing straight people in this way, while I would (rightfully) get banned if I made a similar generalization here about queer people.

Since when does being straight mean you're bad at sex? I imagine the % of straight people who suck at sex is higher, but that's just because queer people are more sexually adventurous in general.

Ah yes, 'round here we call that 3 the hardway

[–] AFC1886VCC@reddthat.com 22 points 1 year ago (5 children)

I'd like to just get to the threesome part first

[–] pipe01@programming.dev 17 points 1 year ago (2 children)
[–] SsxChaos@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 year ago

I would be happy just for being involved

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

i'm generally happy when i have time to arrange a onesome

[–] eronth@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Settle for a hand and you can be handsome.

[–] Thteven@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I've had one. It was a lesson in how to disappoint two women at once.

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Two women? That was the mistake

[–] Thteven@lemmy.world 14 points 1 year ago

Mistake? I was just happy to be there.

[–] Shameless@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

So you can disappoint two people at once?

[–] AFC1886VCC@reddthat.com 2 points 1 year ago

Only one way to find out

[–] NotAnonymousAtAll@feddit.org 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Same advice applies for that as for all other things related to relationships and/or sex:

  1. Put yourself into situations where things can happen. (Can't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket.)

  2. Don't expect anything to actually happen at any given moment. (If you are only there for one thing other people will notice it and that is not attractive at all.)

  3. Be patient and enjoy whatever else is going on meanwhile.

[–] pixeltree@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 year ago

I think it's overrated tbh. A good session with one person you really click with is a lot better, imo

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 14 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Autistic people even do that in monogamous relationships.

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

this assumes making your partner happy isn't a special interest

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Some people want to be bitten (bite fetish is kind of common with autistic people), so that can be a way too.

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

haha wow that sounds weird, haha who would be into that? haha i certainly wouldn't be haha

[–] NoFun4You@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You must not be autistic lol

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

you must be autistic because that was an excessively signalled joke about me very much being into biting and mouth stuff, presumably due to my recently diagnosed autism.

[–] OmegaLemmy@discuss.online 22 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Me In a Threesome Not Knowing What To Do

[–] JackbyDev@programming.dev 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Honestly it's not a bad tactic. Just watch and rizz up the other two. Tell them what they're doing is hot and that it gets you off.

Whoa. Nice user icon.

[–] gmtom@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

Damn homie, didn't know you was freaky like that 😏

[–] UltraGiGaGigantic@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 year ago

More hands make less work.

[–] stevedice@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 year ago

That's why I always take the middle spot.

[–] KingThrillgore@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

A threesome is like a fight between three people where the third guy is just watching awkwardly.
