Of course they didn’t. They literally had every establishment democrat coordinatedly drop out of the primaries in exchange for cabinet positions to throw their support behind Biden when Sanders started winning the primaries in 2020. Like, it’s been clear they’d learned nothing. And thanks to the idiotic two party system, they got rewarded for that maneuver with the opportunity to say “we told you so! Look, we got trump out of office!” And when they lose this time…they won’t learn a goddamn thing. Again.

Not to mention, Biden literally said he’d only run once. Because he’s fuckin old. And would be four years older and less coherent four years after “saving the country” from trump. He acted like it was his duty as, as the democrats said, the most “electable” democrat that would definitely be able to oust trump. But, lo and behold, here we are, four years later, with a Biden four years older and four years more senile, making the 72 year old trump look like the coherent one—and refusing to step down. Even though we all saw these problems coming half s goddamn decade ago.

And this is exactly what we were saying four years ago. If I never deleted my Reddit account, I’d pull up comments I made during the election where I was saying, “Biden is going make trump look like he’s more coherent.” And, while that was definitely true back in 2020, it’s quadruply true four years later.

What a stone cold disaster we are headed for.

Yeah, the problem is the democrats have no one that’s remotely popular enough or likeable enough that they trust to make the candidate. We all know we’d like to see Bernie as the candidate, but that’d never happen in a million years when we’re talking about party-installed replacements. Because they don’t want him to be the head of the Democratic Party. They’d literally rather the country fall to fascism. Which….says quite a lot.

We all know Kamala would be a disaster, and it’d be a massive problem that the right could jump on if the Democratic Party just put someone else there without primaries—which they absolutely shouldve fucking held. Who’d have ever thought that would make sense?!

But who knows, Biden is so incredibly botching this, that it’d probably be a better idea to gamble on someone else even in that uphill scenario. What the fuck ever, I can’t even bare to watch this shit.

Let me give you a different perspective, actually. It doesn’t matter as much that you do interesting things. What matters more is you manage to be funny and appear laid back enough that people won’t be put off. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned anything in my profile that was a genuine interest. I answer any question as a joke, any time I send an opening message I try to make it a joke I find funny, and that usually works.

Remember: those apps are banking on you staying on the app and spending money on Longer you’re there, the more likely they can get you to spend some money. Their business isn’t to successfully get you off the app. It’s to keep you on. So before you ever get too discouraged and down on yourself, remember that you’re working upstream against a soulless corporation.

Well, not everyone gets every joke. But that one, used in lgbtq spaces, has historically not been reacted to the way you reacted. It was seen for what it was: a stupid joke about the absurdity of the response. Not any commentary whatsoever on any sexual identity/preference. You took it the wrong way. Fine. Sorry it touched a sore spot. But it was definitely not meant to be taken that way. Such is life.

Did you watch the video? Because that’s not really what he was saying. He was talking about how we consume music and how the studios and basically capitalism have “streamlined” and bastardized what is meant to be art. He’s talking almost exclusively about how capitalism has robbed us of human connection, how vampiric companies stopped paying to make things that cost more using human musicians in order to sterilize the music for broader appeal and to maximize profits.

Is that…something you disagree with? This is enshittification. Right here. This is a 100% match for the community you’re in. Don’t like that concept? Don’t interact with this community, basically.

For some reason voyager is converting my gif file to a jpeg, so I gotta share a direct link to a website that feels like it somehow survived the 2000s unchanged

You don’t think Biden would criticize a KKK march? A neo Nazi march? Biden criticized Jan 6. How about an anti lgbtq march? Westboro baptist?

I’m just saying, you’re considering this one instance and painting with too broad a brush. Have you only been alive for trump and Biden? Not all US presidents endorse everything bad. They even stand up against a lot of them, typically. Your comment just reads like you’re really young and can’t think past Israel. There are plenty of things neoliberals are at least performatively on the moral side of—social issues, anyway. 2/3 past presidents would’ve spoken out against a lot of things you (most likely) hate.

Not to mention that any protest against is real (or anything netanyahu’s govt doesn’t like) is “antisemitic.”

Antisemitism is a problem. And its roots are long and deep and often hard to spot. But they are using the term “antisemitism” as a cudgel against legitimate criticism. Because they’re a goddamn apartheid government.

….wwwelllll…. I’d be careful painting with too broad a brush there, partner.

Not to mention, hot air rises up from the floor. Cold air…doesn’t.

Rough plot synopsis:

A skinny white cop (I believe with a mustache, brown hair), is depressed. Maybe something happened with his daughter dying or a divorce, maybe both. It was kind of an auteur type film. He ends up going on some sort of reckless crusade against the department, maybe? I remember something about an alcoholic priest too, but that might’ve been another trailer I saw around that time. Or maybe he was an alcoholic himself. (Again, this is a fuzzy memory, sorry.) A scene I vaguely remember is he’s shirtless and maybe his cop car is burning? Does this sound at all familiar to anyone? I really want to find it, it’s been bugging me for literally years. Thanks!

I’ve been looking for a high CBD, mid-to-low THC strain or tincture. All these gray area operations are garbage. I’ve been to legal countries and states where you can…ask questions and get answers and have knowledgeable conversations with someone with recommendations. These janky-ass bags of high-concept packaging you see littering every sidewalk are bullshit. Open a jar, weigh me out what I ask for, and know some shit about it.

Anyone got any ideas or a favorite dispensary? I feel like with the bodegas selling, everyone just wanted to hop in with a store front and two glass display cases, and buys everything from one shitty company probably ruining the industry already. (I guess I’m more heated about this than I thought.)

Any reds are ‘preciated.
