Well, for a second there it seemed like the Democrats were trying to win. Then they pulled a "thats enough effort for this election cycle".

Yeah man I'm sure a young woman is going to want to vote for the guy who took her reproductive health away. Yes, yes I know it's for Kamala, but tf does Trump offer to women who don't want the handmaid's tale?
Self-loathing is a hell of a drug, and white women like the superiority and privilege that comes with their status under white-supremacist patriarchal structures.
Even "progressive" white women will have blind spots. They'll turn into the most rabid of fascists when it comes to foreign policy or have serious hang ups regarding LGBTQ+ people.
It'd be remiss, though, to ignore there being a good chance the leader of the white patriarchy will be a mixed woman of color. Isn't living in the rainbow Weimer Republic fun?

I mean according to some polls the Taylor Swift endorsement negatively effected Harris. I think she's been overexposed to pretty much everyone. And logically it makes sense. The vast majority of Taylor Swift's audience (young women) are voting for Harris anyways. The Democrats already have secured that demographic, they need to appeal to other groups of people to win. So I guess this isn't as bad as it seems for Trump.
In 2016, every celebrity in America begged the population to vote for Hillary. It didn't make a lick of difference.
Yeah that's my point. A lot of the die hard fans of said celebs are voting Democrat anyways. So these endorsements don't get them any more votes, they just serve to try energise the Democratic base. In fact, I'd even argue that such endorsements (by celebrities of Democrats or Republicans) can easily backfire by energising the opposition or putting off those on the fence.
Celebrity involvement in politics causes negative results in the UK too.
It's not the specific celebrity, it's celebrities in general. People do not want to get their political advice from celebs. They actually find it really offensive that they weigh in or try to use their status to influence people at all.
