If one of my family members died I can’t imagine giving a shit about a call from the president even if I was liberal.
Perfect opportunity to criticize their policy decisions to their face.
"I'm glad you've called me to sympathize with the death of my husband. I wonder how many innocent women in Gaza are in the same position due to the bombs you gave to Israel." Then hang up the call.
