if we're going to mess with organ donation the first thing to do would be to make it opt-out rather than opt-in and people who are weird about the supposed afterlife can take five more seconds at the DMV

Absolutely. It's wild that the option to help nobody is the default. But also amerikkka I guess so not surprising.
