Several thousand of people are killed by dogs each year
They are near the top of the list of human-killing animals
Misleading. People get rabies from dog bites and die when they are not treated. Cows kill a lot more people directly then dogs.
Huh, didn't think this was true on first glance, but it is if taken worldwide. In the US, bites are still high, but there are very few deaths from them.
Most of the deaths come from rabies in countries that don't have widely available rabies vaccines. This seems like a solvable problem like tuberculosis if greed didn't get in the way.

Better than burying it or overcooking it, as far as the cat’s concerned. Wouldn’t put it past cats to politely request a semi-cremation, or temporary burial for the family.
