Lancer is a... weird little guy? I dunno even though I really liked undertale I didn't really vibe with deltarune and never played past ep1. I do vaguely remember having fun fighting him.

Soooo, uh, yeah, that's Lancer I guess. I'd love to hear about everybody's favourite little weirdos.

Well every 3 days is still more often then I wash mine tbh with you.

I guess I just thought that was typical?? Like a lot of the women in my life do at least something every day I feel like, even before workouts and stuff. Skincare I thought people usually did stuff at least once a day. Plus I know makeup can help with passing and stuff which is important to me.

Might sound harsh but this sounds very much like internalized misogyny.

No I just thought that was what most women did?

Skincare can be as simple as just applying some moisturizer after taking a bath. You can do something everyday yes, but it doesn't have to take a lot of time or effort. And remember, if you can do a little better than yesterday it's already progress, go little by little and you'll get where you want to.

You can even get moisturizers with sunscreen in them, making it just one product!

So why would you "have" to do makeup? Especially if you are currently saying you dread it? You don't have to.

I mean I guess yea, I don't literally have to, just that it seems really expected for women to do, and I'm transitioning to be a woman. And even more so because I'm trans and it would help me look better which I need even more. idk, I kinda get what you're saying, do you understand what I'm saying?

You do not have to do makeup to be a woman, if you want to do it because it makes you happy than do it. If you think its an obligation, its not. Maybe it'd help you pass but the dread you felt suggests maybe you don't want to do makeup. So don't!

it seems really expected of women and Im transitioning to be a woman. And it would help me look better

This part is beauty standards and internalized stuff. You should talk to your support group about these feelings and that you felt some dread about it. Also... you might like makeup later when youre doing it (I do)! If you like it do it! Not bbecause you "have" to or "women have to" - do you tell women in your life they need to wear makeup?
