I mean, pantyhose is pretty flexible (a pantyhose-covered finger isn't that different from a latex-covered penis), you can relatively easily rip it apart (though the pantyhose wearer might not be pleased about that) and most woman wear panties anyway, pantyhose can't be that much harder to pull down or just slide your hand in than panties ...

Nope. Too on topic, words with too many syllables, and not a single complaint about Obama shit his (Trumps) pants.
Modern pantyhose yes, but at the time of this quote pantyhose was an unyealding bother for everyone involved. Any attempt to get your hand into them would cause runs and ruin the hose. They were not comfortable fabric, so fucking through them would be a sandpaper condom on both sides. All in all, it's just a big negative for everyone involved that was unilaterally unnecessary.
