We legally call the pedophiles’ actions as r*** because the power dynamic means children can’t legally consent. It’s a legal dynamic designed to shield children and it’s a good one. But I think we run the risk of misidentification in this circumstance.

Some of these men are undoubtedly pedophiles. Some of them might not, specifically, be attracted to children. What Epstein was was a removed. His pathology is that of a serial removed, and what was being “sold” by him was removed.

In a way the entire pedophilia thing is almost a distraction. I am sure the number of victims who were legally of a consenting age in a given place isn’t insignificant either.

What all of the victims have in common is a general youth or outright child-likeness. The power dynamic is part of this. This is basically whatremoved culture looks like because this is it when it’s rich enough to wear itself on its sleeve. This is the brazen version the rich get up to. This is it writ large.

And what this says about the rich is very telling. Very telling that this was something they were all part of. That it spread in their ranks because the psychology of the rich is the psychology of a taker. I could keep building this whole argument. All of it is implicitly woven together.

This is a glance into arch villainy. I don’t know what else to call it. Cruelty for the thrill. They want to be loved and feared.
