Imagine turning in your son, or convincing him to turn himself in, and then the president immediately says they will seek the death penalty.

trump said that they'd seek the death penalty for the shooter a few hours after kirk was initially pronounced dead. this was out in the open for at least a day. the dad knew.
he turned himself in? pathetic doesn't even begin to describe it. how could anyone feel remorse after merking somebody who deserves it as much as charlie kirk?
Doubt it was about remorse. UK news are saying his dad convinced him to do it so they wouldn't shoot him.
That's because this guy went to the police to clear his name, not to turn himself in. The idea that he turned himself in after all of that makes 0 sense.
