This proof is a banger, but I have a proof that the eqation x^n^ + y^n^ = z^n^ has no integer solutions for n > 2 on my buttocks

Unfortunately I can't share it with you, as there might be british people on this website.

Your tattoo is likely not a proof, but just a formula. And if I am not mistaken: the assumption that the formula is true, got disproven a few years ago.

Actually, currently all the Lemmy instances are blocking the UK because of the new porn law. So you are safe.

Oh, you mean... there are currently more Argentines than british on lemmy? Escucharon muchachos? Ganamos*

You're wrong.

Source: British not using VPN... Well, not for Lemmy, anyhow.

[–] Ilovethebomb@sh.itjust.works 13 points 1 week ago

Oh, that's hilarious.

[–] Lumisal@lemmy.world 13 points 1 week ago

Does that mean reddit.uk is gone now?

(It's also why I thought "buy European" being hosted there was dumb, especially post Brexit)

[–] bdonvr@thelemmy.club 4 points 1 week ago

I haven't yet. I'm waiting to see if the UK can/will do anything to non-UK sites that don't comply.

[–] Midnitte@beehaw.org 2 points 1 week ago

Damn, we could have just done that rather then having a tea party?

[–] CuriousRefugee@lemmy.ml 18 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I have discovered a truly marvelous proof of this, which my buttocks is too narrow to contain

[–] silasmariner@programming.dev 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Formatting is wild there my dawg. Fermat's sufficiently recognisable tho' that I know what it meant to say

The proof is actually pretty simple but the character limit on my instance is too small to contain it

[–] panda_abyss@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago

I updated it

Kinda weird formatting for superscript

[–] eah@programming.dev 5 points 1 week ago

Andrew Wiles has taken offense.

I think Lemmy is beyond the eyes of the law. At least, hopefully.
