Jesus himself never direcly mentioned slavery afaik, however, the old testament explicitly condones it and provides instruction on how to get slaves (including ones who count as your property for life) in the law, and jesus did say he didn't come to abolish the law, so...

Jesus was fine with slavery ๐Ÿ˜ฌ most of the good stuff he's said has been said in better ways and before him

No that's just not true at all. Before I was vegan my favorite food hands down was meat - ribs, steak, ham, brisket, chicken, burgers, etc. I loved it, not to the degree of luffy from one piece (๐Ÿค“) but my favorite by far. That said, once I realized pleasure is never a good reason to kill someone, I stopped eating animals, and when I learned how fucked other animal ag (dairy, eggs, etc) is I went completely vegan.

Now when I walk by places cooking dead animals it smells good and then I think about the massive injustice behind it, and there's just no way I could go back to supporting that no matter how good it tastes. I love stuff like Juicy Marbles, Beyond, and Meati Mushroom steaks tho, cause they're the best replacements I've found.

Even though animal flesh is one of my favorite flavors I've ever tasted I'm still baffled that people continue to eat it when the reality is it's killing and hurting animals for pleasure, which is insane and not ok at all.

Also tempeh is pretty good! Also soy, but it has a nice flavor, and is great on sandwiches!

Honestly tho a dating site that's not incentivized to keep people on the dating site makes a lot of sense

I have waybar set to be on the right side of my screen, but the wallpaper goes "under" it, such that if I have two windows open, the center of the wallpaper isn't in the center of the gaps between the windows, if that makes sense.

I'd like it so that the center of the wallpaper is in the center of the gaps between two windows. Or in other words, so that the wallpaper goes from the left edge of the screen to the left edge of the bar, so the bar just has a static color bg.

Does anyone know how to do that?

I'm sure there are other groups that do it too, but I've noticed it most often from christian apologists, probably in part case I like listening to debates/discussions with them from atheist youtubers, but I've also noticed it talking to christians myself.

It always feels super weird to me, but that's also coming from someone who feels weird with eye contact and saying other peoples names, so maybe it's just me. Has anybody else noticed it, or are there other people you've noticed that do that? Does it seem weird to you?
