IMO, on the Game Awards where it was announced, he looked extremely nervous to say much of anything. And he seemed like he was trying to downplay what the game has with his comments on it being a small team working on it. Which I don't blame him.

!Cooking@lemmy.world will become the new main LW culinary community. !AskCulinary, !Food, and !Recipes will be locked until such time we have a larger user base that can support those similar communities. We will periodically check in with each community to gauge whether it's the right time to reopen. There will be a pinned post pointing user to join !cooking in each community.
This is not meant to be a permanent decision and we hope Lemmy grows to be able to support every niche there is.

When browsing "local" or "all", it would be nice to have some kind of indicator next to the community name to let you know if you've already subscribed or not. I browse "all" sometimes looking for new communities to sub to and I click through to find out I'm already subbed often.
I think something as simple as being able to set a different color for subbed communities would work well and be enough to stand out at a glance.
I couldn't imagine just leaving my dog there because I didn't have a crate. If my dogs are with me, and they can't fly, then I can't fly. Pisses me off how some people treat animals. My dogs are my whole world. If you do something like this you should be blacklisted from every owning a dog again.
