Would this be a replacement for Valkey in small scale?

I just skimmed over the text. That's just a lot of words for saying "no ai".

Personally, I like debian's approach more. They put some granularity of levels as to when and how much ai assistance can you take.

But I can totally see that void, being the profile of users and devs they got, would prefer to be way more radical.

Dinosaur's and theirbextinction. Was it a meteorite? Did volcanoes erupt? Etc. from the theory confirmed :)

Are they? All my friends in their 30s have more than one app. Or had it, when they were single.

What has really been dying for quite some time is "third spaces". That's what we need to get back really, beyond dating. Just plain socializing and enjoying togetherness.

You make it sound like there were no violence involved to do "just" that colonization that you describe as "either" extracting resources or exporting people. It's both. And genocide. Mercenaries. Corruption. Etc. you just hand waived at a lot of social conflicts all over the world..

I am not trying to accuse you of anything. I just found it unfortunate that you expressed like that.

And it's not about comparing which people suffered the most during their invasions by British power.

At least I have been trying to get an actual account instead of the "sign in with google" everywhere. What a trap!

Also, her name is Alice. Yeah, for real. Hear me out. There's an old nazi chant the crowds can't say, which is "alles für alles". It would be illegal to chant it. One of the thing people like to do in her presence is swap in her name there. I know it's stupid, but the whole spirit of AfD, and their "time to move on" pillar is expressed with joy in this little things. Anyone following in detail they actions can see how obscenely brainwashed they are. Full of nazi symbolisms in their campaigns. Alice is just a pet politician in this regard. But that's not to remove any seriousness to her own speeches and ideas. She's as dangerous as any other of the deranged lunatics in this neonazi conclave Putin has installed in Germany

Amazing prose, fellow human. First of all, you wrote with one hand, another hand, and then another hand. Just to finish with, secondly.

Technically you would also want to encrypt your RAM. But that's depending on your threat model.

Oh no, nazis on Twitter. What a surprise! /S

I don't understand why Meta (of all companies) would do this. But here we are... with it, the ecological footprint of your waifu girlfriend that just so happens to be a professional coder, goes from Y liters of waters and Z Megawatts to the mere cheap use of your local gpu, just like gaming. What a time to be alive.

Apparently Gemma 4 (by deepmind) are very energy-efficient for their capabilities.

The post itself seems to recommend a company (neuralwatt.com) but it's unrelated to project wagtail (an open source CMS made with django) so I consider it legit, they're just vouching for this new approach that shows users their ecological footprint basically.

(Of course, running these at a homelab is possible. hence the relevance of this info for the community)

Check what can you use and at what rate of token per seconds would it be... It has examples of many models and quantization levels. Huge resource!
