I’m not biracial but I am a dual citizen. When I lived in Canada I was called a yankee and when I moved to the USA I was called a Canuck. Can’t win lol.

40 years for me. Things can get better but never have the expectation that things will be better sitting back and changing nothing. Some times we get to complacent and stop discovering new adventures.

I think a lot of people who sign up end up staying. I find my interaction on Reddit diminishes more and more and usage of lemmy keeps going up

Yeah just a few things different but overall the aesthetic is very pleasing. Took forever for me to figure out how to mark a comment as “read” to get rid of the badges (slide left).

I’ve got a buddy of mine who is an annoying maga type. Always telling me about Plato’s Cave and he’s definitely not on Reddit. Only thing is he is 40 and not 20 something.

Just depends on the person saying it. Could just be what their GPS says or the person could have included stops. Best to ask them as there is no definitive answer to this.

With time people will start getting frustrated with all the inconvenient features that Reddit pushes out. Slowly but surely the communities will rebuild here, just like Digg to Reddit.
