I guess I'm part of the ones who took it to the extreme and left reddit for good...
There are dozens of us! Dozens!
Uh, hey guys… Last day of Apollo I deleted my comment history and my account.
Quite enjoy Lemmy; don’t miss the other place at all.
I've taken a couple of peeks, and we're not missing anything. It's not the same as it used to be even just a couple of months ago. It sucks even more now.
I'm a RiF refugee. Without the app I just didn't see much point continuing with it.
Same here. I'll check in from time to time, or for past results, but not for anything recent. I haven't logged in dince June either.
Same. I don't even remember the passwords to my accounts because they were saved on Reddit is Fun for years. Now I can't even log in anymore.
I don’t have an app to browse Reddit with ever since Apollo got shut down, and haven’t ever logged in through the browser, so I haven’t been there for a while.
Here is an alternative Piped link(s): https://piped.video/i3_4v54To1U
Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.
I'm open-source, check me out at GitHub.
I see YouTube is next. Soon we will all be self hosting our video channels
Thank you. My first wish before I clicked the comment section.
I haven't used reddit on my PC in years so it's always been the on the phone for. I tried their app and it was so bad compared to everything else I just said fuck it.
This fediverse is clearly the way forward. No more dipshits like spez and his fiefdom
We are all Landed Gentry on this blessed day!
Same. As far as I was concerned reddit was always a phone app for me, so to speak. I never used it on desktop. If the mobile experience is compromised, that's it for me
