I think we need to spend another year arguing over the nuance of ethnic cleansing vs. genocide before I can make a clear decision on what side I support.

I rolled fire. It’s always fire here.

Concerning. Looking into it.

I feel like you’ve been around long enough for your egg to crack already if you were… but hey, some shells are thicker than others…

She the type of person who would write a 10 page essay when the teacher explicitly asked for 2-3 pages

Kinda like a goofy breaking bad

It was intentionally enshittified so you’d spend more time on it, and they could shove more ads in your face

With a mig torch, a metal wire is constantly fed through a tube instead of you constantly having to swap electrodes. It may be difficult to access some spots initially but once you get to it, you’ll have to move less.

Oh hai there

Also, if you’re welding material with a larger gap between them, you can do a series of tack welds to give yourself more material to work with without burning through the metal. This works better with MIG welding though.

With stick, it’s bad practice but you can take an electrode, knock off the flux, and use the electrode itself as a filler metal.

If you’re using flat pieces of metal together and are afraid of it burning though, you can use a backing bar to both draw excess heat away and reduce the chance of blowing through the weld by providing structure for the weld pool to sit on. You need to use metal with different properties than what you’re welding though, otherwise you’ll just end up with a 3rd piece of metal attached to your weld piece. I think I remember using either bronze or brass.

These little guys are the best crewmates possible in FTL. Not only do they not need oxygen making it safe to repair breaches, but they DRAIN oxygen from the room they're in, meaning fire is virtually powerless against them, and any enemies that decide to fight them will most likely suffocate to death in the process, making their combat viability comparable to a mantis.

By far my favorite crewmates in vanilla.

Went through my mail that's been accumulating for too long and found a birthday card addressed to my deadname from my stepdad's parents. Which means that they haven't been updated that I've transitioned, despite publicly coming out on social media almost two years ago.

And if they care enough to send me a birthday card I would have come up in conversation at least once. They couldn't just give them an update on my name under such circumstances? Does my mom really expect me to personally tell everyone I tangentially know, but never really speak to, and have an in-depth conversation about gender-identity and why I've transitioned before she's willing to acknowledge my transness in front of them?

I have no real desire or intention of making them a major part of my life. I don't have their phone numbers, and I have not interacted with them in over two years. It is not my responsibility to update them. It is my mom's responsibility to refer to me as my proper identity when I'm not around.

I should not have to deal with this shit this far into my transition.

Where the guy says "no man can kill me" and she takes off her helmet and says "I am no man" and he implodes out of respect to her pronouns. Always loved that scene.

Dirt_Owl swooped down while I was outside enjoying a nice meal and stole that one abnormally good fry you save for later in the meal. Didn't even ask. SMDH.

I've heard numerous times that transitioning makes you more susceptible to the cold, and while I do feel colder when I'm cold, it still takes alot for me to actually get cold.

I think my natural body temperature is still pretty high and I can still last for a good long while without any coat or jacket.

Joke's on them though, I can't afford treats.

Biden steps down as the presidential candidate only to remain on the ticket, and he and Kamala just switch roles.

Then 4 years later, they switch roles again

Replace Biden's dementia medication with Viagra before his meeting with Bibi.

I played Celeste years and years ago when I was still a massive egg and couldn't even conceive of the possibility I may be trans, and most of the stuff went over my head. Didn't know Madeline was trans, it was just a cool platformer I vibed with.

Now I've repurchased the game on steam and am replaying it years into my transition and damn... I've never played a game where I resonate with the main character on such an intimate level. It's already made me cry a few times and I'm only at the hotel chapter.

God damn, now this is a bad one.

I got pretty emotional over this video. Part of it is a conversation between current day Abigail and her old self when she was still living life as a man, and it resonated with me on a pretty intimate level. As someone who is still pretty early on in her journey, it was really touching to see how far Abigail has come, and how she refutes the internalized transphobia and the doubts she had that were holding her back from transitioning as a dialog with her old self.
