I don't really hang out on Reddit anymore; I mostly get the impression that he crushed a mod rebellion from stories like these that refer to a mod rebellion.
My country's national anthem is just one long stupid rhetorical question that's impossible to sing. It's super embarrassing at international sporting events when it's consistently the worst one there.
I'm trying to get a team together to do something similar which you can join if you're interested: https://dougs-digital-garden.netlify.app/notes/trailsapp/
I use namecheap -- I got my two most recent domains for less than $8 apiece -- but I hear good things about Google domains as well.
I use Letterboxd and love it
I would absolutely love it! The more the merrier.

My cold brew maker use a metallic filter, but I also bought a pack of paper filters to try out. I haven't noticed a sour or off flavor when using the metal filter, and use it almost exclusively, fwiw.
So, I had no idea, but from a cursory search, I found these headlines:
- Steven Crowder exposed himself at work
- Steven Crowder suspended from YouTube for letting Alex Jones co-host
- YouTube removes Steven Crowder video for violating COVID policy
So yeah, probably we don't need to use him in a popular meme format.
I'm definitely watching the World Cup -- I just got back from the pub where I was watching New Zealand beat Norway. I've been trying to get !worldcup@lemmy.world going for the World Cup so that people who want to talk about it have a space that's dedicated to the tournament, so if you wanna come hang out over there as well, it might be fun!
I'm pretty sure the original gold rush was also an environmental disaster that destroyed agriculture and introduced mercury contamination to the waterways, so this may be a bit of a false dichotomy.
There's actually a bunch! My favorite is called aquamation or alkaline hydrolysis, where they dissolve you in water with some chemicals and then pour you on a tree or whatever!
It doesn't really affect this meme, I just think it's neat.
Breaking Bad. I tried it and it's just... too much.
