Man that dude really should’ve just shut the fuck up. The only evidence he was trying to shoot the president is that he said he was trying to do so.

Brother was walking around south Florida with a gun, that’s not a crime! Until you fired a shot you had plausible deniability. Lie, and shut the fuck up. Repeat after me: “I’m expressing my second amendment right to open carry”

Wag that dog! The hub of global finance needs you far more than you need it.

This is unironically true. The hub of hopes and dreams production needs places that produce goods far more than the goods producing places need whatever the US provides. Lectures and drunken GIs harassing your citizens mostly.

The whole reason for this scandal is the US trying to actually do some domestic manufacturing and in order to do that we need workers from South Korea to teach people how to do it. Without them we can’t do it.

Scientific research already has an effective system for things like this, committees and ethics boards. Give those committees, the ones who approve human research beforehand and the ones at the FDA that approve drugs based on the research, the power to overrule that requirement.

Which now that I’m thinking about it, we already do! There are other situations where we don’t require blinding because it would be unethical; Chemotherapy for example. A blind control would be condemning people to death, and so it’s not required. The outcomes are just compared to existing treatments instead.
