That arc sucked so much. Like even setting aside its core racism and liberal chauvinism where the Bad Countries responsible for the problem are silly revolutionaries who are dumb and silly and do dumb silly things and a racist caricature of the DPRK, it's just a hundred episodes with as much total content and story progression as like, a really light, slow paced 12 episode series does now.

It sticks out so much too because the entire arc is like three times longer than any other storyline in the series. Then like 80% of it is just waiting patiently for Bug-Cell to be born so they can beat him up. Then the series just ends a few episodes after.

It's the worst arc of the show and it takes up 41.2% of the runtime. Somehow I still enjoyed the rest of it lol.

Hunter x Hunter, it's an anime about people with special powers that have adventures (typically involving fighting other people with powers). Same genre as Dragonball.
