Twink Pinnochio game is amazing. So is the DLC.
Lies of Peak mentioned, this game rules. I have yet to play the DLC but I heard it's amazing too.
I can't wait until they announce the sequel game that's hinted at in the end credits
Witcher 3 Remastered. I beat the Witcher 2 and imported my save file. Picked it back up once the update dropped. I'm excited to learn the new skill tree.

y'all gotta get up on krillion
Halalken times 10
Palworld. I have a fully leveled dark electric dragon that I ride on and reign terror from the skies. I have to put him back in his ball for me to knock down HP so I can capture some high level pals without nuking them right off.
But then there's this dang 500,000 HP sea serpent that I tried to get through so I could get to the world tree, and I couldn't do hardly any damage to. The scaling on this game is all over the place. But now that I've gotten ancient everything once I get my electric pals leveled up might have a better shot.
There are not many healing items in this game. There's a healing grenade but it doesn't seem to work much. Food slowly regains health. So you're basically desperately trying to avoid / tank screen wipe attacks. Maybe i'm not getting something. But will crack at it again.
If you're talking about Panthalus I'm guessing you haven't engaged too much with some combination of condensing, pal souls, passive abilities, friendship, and/or stat potentials - combined they can easily triple or quadruple a pals stats, but they can be a bit laborious depending on your method. If you've been collecting dog coins you can buy your way through most of it, but you may still have to search for some passive implants to avoid breeding chains.
Yes that one.
Thanks you so much for the tips.
I've just started to condense some. Maxed out passive abilities in my main. Breeding is a challenge because my pals keep bringing from the farm and eating my cotton candy first instead of the plethera of food already there. I need that cotton candy for cakes and breeding. IMaybe I should go full 2 farms and overload them for a bit and turn off transporting for a bit lol.
Dog coins is how I bought the starfruits to 4star my main. All friendships are lvl 10, except for my lightning team I'm building to zap panthalus. They were easy to get in the upper 70 lvl range.
The souls are maxed on my main, up to the huge souls on all stats for electric team. Currently farming souls to top em off.
Everyone is learning thunderstorm when I find them.
I've only found one implant and set generic impatient and damage boost implants. Base pals are implanted and soul boosted to boost work. Any tips of farming implants?
Thanks again
That's good, sounds like there's only a handful of places you can improve then.
With the farm, make sure that the food box has it's first slot filled with as much of one dish as you can make. Pals always eat from the first available slot, so by filling it you can make sure they never move along to later slots. I'm fairly sure cotton candy is an ingredient too, so you can set permissions on the box to only allow food to be placed in it, so they should take it to a box or fridge instead, where they won't eat it. I think the default keybind to access box permissions on PC is v.
Potentials can be viewed by equipping one of the pairs of pal glasses, and are a direct % bonus to the base stat, so want to be in the 90-100 range. Every other stat boost stacks mutiplicly with it, so increasing a potential from 0 to 100 gives the single biggest stat increase available. Easy way to get stat increasing fruits are dog coins again, otherwise you have to wait for expeditions to bring you stat fruits. You can also use mushroom cakes to get better potentials from breeding, and mutated eggs will always have high stat potentials.
You can buy reusable implants from the pidf for bounty tokens or the Arena for arena tokens. These cover the gold passive skills, so aren't the highest bonuses, but before you start cracking relics from the world tree they're the only ones that are easy to get - there are a handful of disposable ones in the little puzzle ruins, but it's literally only 2 or 3 across the whole map. You can make breeding chains using pals that randomly spawned with the platinum skills to move them onto your desired species, but takes a lot of time and cake, so probably isn't worth the effort. Speaking of the puzzle ruins, make sure you use the items you get from them - there should be a rod that gives +pal damage and +electrical damage which helps a lot for this fight.
The last thing is the specific mechanics of the Panthalus fight: the arena is mostly water, so mons that default to walking (which I think all the dragon-electrics do) have to swim, which slows them and both drains stamina and stops them from restoring it. Swimming and hovering mons (e.g surfent/jormuntide, helzephyr/bellanoir) don't have that slow or stamina drain, so they can stay out on the water and keep attacking rather than having to return to land to get their stamina back. This mechanic turns up in like 3 other fights and is easy to cheese in those ones, so is very missable.
Good luck with the fight - there is a final boss, but Panthalus is the real test that checks if you've learnt and applied all the different mechanics they've put in the game, and the World Tree is the reward. The prizes inside will trivialise the tasks it took to get there; ancient farms produce vegetables faster than you can use them, ancient hatcheries breed and hatch eggs in a matter of seconds, ancient synthesisers produces mountains of every wood and ore, and the relics will give you all the star fruits, stat fruits, implants, and blueprints you need to build your perfect team. Unfortunately, cotton candy remains just as slow to produce.
Finished Metal Gear Solid 1 with my friend yesterday, finally. Was really good. Looking forward to starting 2. We played the Japanese release called MGS Integral which has the English voice acting and mostly-English menus. At the end because I use a Pocket Station memory card it triggered the special FOXDIE event where you're supposed to spread your memory card save with 5 other people with Pocket Stations within a week to save a character after the ending and then it also unlocks something in the special VR missions I believe. Was kinda' losing my mind when it happened because I've never heard anyone talk about this feature.
But yeah, MGS1 was really good. Presentation was insanely good for a PS1 game. Good voice acting and stuff, even. Really loved all the codec calls, both in terms of presentation but also how interesting and numerous they were. The game wasn't as technical or stealthy as I was thinking it'd be, so many of the rooms are basically open rectangles with like maybe 4 soldiers that walk very small, repeating patrol patterns. I didn't have to distract or sneak that much. Once you get the stun grenades chucking one of those nullifies almost every room. I guess on harder difficulties and with the NG+ modes and stuff there's more stealth required, probably -- also probably what the VR missions are for too. I only played a couple and they played out more like puzzles though. My only annoyance would be how frequently the game pads out little sections here and there like how long each boss takes to kill and sending you to backtrack 2-3 times, which in afterwards don't feel like a lot of effort but in the moment had me groaning. I think mostly because world traversal just wasn't that interesting. It's a short game so I shouldn't complain about that too much though. The end screen said we beat it in 12 hours.

What the I literally never heard of this! Were you using the pocketstation emulator? I know street fighter alpha 3 and final fantasy 8 had support for it.
No, an actual Pocket Station in this case. It emits a pretty chime at each start up. I use it as my main PS1 memory card and then back up the save files on my PS3. I guess it might work on a PS Vita/TV with its pocket station emulator too? Although that definitely wouldn't support the save-spreading thing since that's supposed to be done via infrared communication on the PSes.
Got ya, but that's really neat a memory card virus like foxdie. Bravo Kojima.
Just finished Metroid Zero Mission yesterday, yay! Now I've started Aria of Sorrow in preparatior for Belmont's Curse that is launching soon, I played the demo and it was great! Loved the design of the first boss.
I also want to play Metroid 2 now. I'll be playing the AM2R fan remake since it follows the same style as Zero Mission and Fusion, but I do want to check out Samus Returns later since people say it feels like a prototype for Dread.
Played through all the endings for Armored Core 6.
Thinking about taking the momentum to play Nier Automata on the "hard action game with multiple endings" backlog. Or I'll try to get Demon's Souls or Bloodborne running idk
Anyone here watch that animated series for Amazon that had an Armored Core 6 episode with Keanu Reeves?
If you know what the title is, I'll try and find it and give it a watch lol
Secret Level. Season 1, Episode 8. Couldn't remember the title because of how generic it is.
Picked up Sable on sale and I'm digging it so far. Not very far in but I'm loving the art style and it's weirdly cozy for what seems to be a fairly desolate open world.

Looks like Rey salvaging on Jakku. Also like the art style. Single player. Might pick it up for myself.
Been on Timberborn a lot recently. After the initial stress of dealing with badtides it's very satisfying to build little anarcho-beaverist utopias. Not entirely sure on the ethics of letting the beavers die out so the bots can more efficiently terraform the place before cloning the beavers back into fully automated luxury ace anarchism, but I got a few cheevs out of it.
Booted up Dwarf Fortress again today.

The only game I played the last month or so is the new Fire Emblem. I've gotten burnt out. Couldn't find what to play instead, so I'm reading horror novels until I probably go back. I might get the new Star Wars, go back to Wrath of the Righteous, Diablo II remake, or Resident Evil 7
Downloaded the 2013 release of sonic 1,2 and CD off itch.io, reliving my childhood as always.
Jumping between fire emblem and control resonant. Fire emblem is like an infinity game it seems so mostly focusing on control now which is only a 40 hour game or so. Only. Enjoying both alot though.
Started a new fallout 4 survival playthrough this time focused primary on settlement building, super excited and into it currently; excepting over 100 hours of this.
Started playing Signalis a few days ago and I'm hooked. Best silent hill/resident evil game I've played in a while. Seriously though, this is so good.
Playing broken arrow
enemy has no air defence, not even manpad
"oh cool, perfect time to use attack helicopters and jets"
no air unit is available for this mission
whole mission take place near an airport your side occupies
I hate this trope
Finished my DMC5 Vergil run, and fucking hell, the final boss that makes up the last two missions was a brick wall in what was otherwise a cakewalk. For comparison, I S-ranked Urizen first try. Managed to scrape out victories after a good number of attempts, which was satisfying. Messed around a bit more and I just do NOT understand how to get S-ranks as Nero. Weapon-swapping as Dante or Judgement Cutting as Vergil are both so easy, but Nero has comparatively more tricky tools and worse mobility.
Played some more warframe, got Citrine Prime (seems good) and Narin is building.
Also I think I'm just about maxed out on Unnamed Space Idle now. Did the 160 reinforce, and there appears to be no more progression. It may finally be time to switch to a different idle game.
Been playing some Magic Arena, enjoying my jank Eldrazi deck. Boy you wouldn't believe how much mana my play zone can fit in it. I'm also trying to play Virtual Circuit Board and build a CPU, but I'm having trouble making compact simple components, let alone a whole CPU!
