Up for two days and no one is going to make the reference?: You gotta give.

I got advice from Reddit one day that the best trick is to quickly, lightly pull your testicles up a little bit and the drops come flying out.

Works but you still have only slight control as to where those drops are going.

....since I was 28...

[–] obvs@lemmy.world 2 points 12 hours ago

Sit to pee and press the tip with a paper towel.

[–] RattlerSix@lemmy.world 1 points 11 hours ago

I couldn't figure this one out. It's just a drop out two, and sometimes not even that. I thought he leaned against the wet sink.

men with large prostates can relate.

Everyone who wants to avoid urinary incontinence issues should do pelvic floor exercises. I don't see it spoken about for men as much as women (women are advised to do this during and after pregnancy especially), but everyone can benefit from it.

To identify the feeling of contracting your pelvic floor muscles, try stopping peeing when you're mid stream (though this is just to help you identify them — you shouldn't regularly practice this way, as it can lead to UTIs).

The way to practice is to squeeze your pelvic floor muscles, trying not to pull your tummy in (or to squeeze your glutes). Hold this for two seconds, then relax. Repeat 10 times. Doing this daily is advised, and over time, you can increase the amount of time you hold the squeeze for to up to 10 seconds. Try to breathe normally while you do this exercise.

In addition to being the best way to prevent urinary incontinence, it can also help with sexual performance too. You can practice basically any time. I often find myself practicing while I'm in traffic, because it's something to help fill the time.

LPT: when you think you are done, push on your taint. You're welcome.

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago (2 children)

LPT if it's not a urinal, dap the tip with a piece of toilet paper

Sure thing. Will shove my hand between my legs and press it really good in a public urinal. That will totally look normal.

[–] obvs@lemmy.world 1 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

People are not looking at you when you're using the urinal.

The fact you think it takes this much effort to touch your taint while you're peeing standing up tells everyone here you have no idea where your taint is.

[–] jpreston2005@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago (2 children)

you just reach like 1 or 2 fingers, about half and inch past where your balls end, push up a bit, it can be done inconspicuously. I do it every time now out of habit.

Huh? I'm well near retirement and it's just pee until it stops, a few drops, that's it.

[–] saimen@feddit.org 23 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Da hilft kein Schütteln und kein Klopfen, in die Hose geht der letzte Tropfen.

(It doesn't help to shake and beat, into the pants goes the last drop)

We have a similar one in America it goes "no matter how much you wiggle and dance you always end up with some on your pants'

[–] Slashme@lemmy.world 37 points 1 day ago (3 children)

That's not normal at 37. In fact, that's not normal at 60.

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 24 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The volume is exaggerated for comedic effect.

A year or two ago, I was having a wee and was thinking about how women dry with TP and us men are just degenerates that shake it around. I jokingly thought about creating a "wankerchief" that guys could keep around and calling it a "Peter Patter".

It definitely made me giggle far too much. It's a disgusting premise to carry around a piss covered rag, but the names I thought were on point.

[–] Honytawk@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 18 hours ago

You mean reuse the same wankerchief?

[–] DrunkenDuckling@lemmus.org 22 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Im a dude and wiping with a single sheet of TP after peeing is a gamechanger Im never going back from.

[–] kestrel7_7@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Everyone doesn’t do this? My god… 😭

[–] DrunkenDuckling@lemmus.org 2 points 17 hours ago

When I'm at home I always wipe after pissing. While I'd take a pass on the piss rag in my pocket idea, the name still could apply to men's underwear. After all, our underwear is soaking up that unwiped piss already.

"If peeing your pants makes you cool, consider me Miles Davis."

[–] HumanOnEarth@lemmy.ca 48 points 2 days ago (6 children)

Situation permitting, tuck a finger underneath and apply some pressure to your taint area or so at the end of your pee. Sometimes the plumbing needs a bit of help.

That should do it.

They makes faucets more powerful, and sinks less deep, each and every year.
