Woaaww the statistical prediction machine is statistically predicting what its average user wants from it based on a query and then stereotyping a group of people based on that??? I wouldve never predicted such a thing happening(this is of course only because im not an omniscient statistical prediction machine)

Are these images real?
In a right leaning space I saw the exact same image. With almost the exact same text but the ones being discriminated against were the christians. And everyone there was like "ooh the woke AI is at it again!"
So, I have the hypothesis that maybe both images were actuale faked. Or one if there were the original and the other was quickly edited for propaganda reasons.
There's a third possibility, which is the most likely one IMO. LLMs are non-deterministic. That means that they'll give you a different answer each time, even if you ask the exact same question using the exact same words. This isn't even considering that the LLMs are constantly being updated, so you're going to get different results depending upon which version you use, too.
(Minor side point because you're using it colloquially and that's fine: LLMs absolutely are deterministic systems. We aren't even sure if a non-deterministic system is possible to construct.)
Functionally non-deterministic if we compare the same input with outputs over a short enough period.
Deterministic if you have infinite time to run the gamut of model weights against temperature/creativity/programmed randomness, but even then maybe not if floating point math is taken into account. I don’t know where the current thought is on extreme precision being deterministic or not given cloud environments, local operating and environmental factors, variance in manufacturing, and the like.
Nah. LLMs use a random seed to noise the parameters.
Same input + same seed = same output every time. (Kinda like Minecraft)
LLM providers just always use a random seed for stuff like this.

People often forget, the first LLMs were trained on a scrape of most surface sites; this includes places like 4chan and ED.
To suggest LLMs are racist is to over-personify. To suggest an LLM's outputs amplify the views of such sites however...
It's like saying the kid spouting racist remarks isn't racist, it was just raised by racist parents.
They do deserve some of the hate for spouting racist remarks.
