People often forget, the first LLMs were trained on a scrape of most surface sites; this includes places like 4chan and ED.
To suggest LLMs are racist is to over-personify. To suggest an LLM's outputs amplify the views of such sites however...
It's like saying the kid spouting racist remarks isn't racist, it was just raised by racist parents.
They do deserve some of the hate for spouting racist remarks.
A kid is a conscious entity - an AI is a thing we made.

These views are not from 4Chan but American think-tanks like Rand institute or Washington institute for near east policy and the systemic Islamophobic propaganda they spread. And their Hollywood amplifiers.

It's important people understand that these views aren't accidental but purposely created racism.
A very important distinction
It's like when I say that the US gets what it deserves
