Never understood it. In my experience, swans are stinkier/filthier too. Like lipstick on a pig and suddenly everyone thinks they're majestic.
It's because baby swans are kinda mid, and everyone loves a glow up.
Geese are the "swans" which could be brokered with.

It's like when you get tongs you gotta click em together a couple times, these are the rules.
When you get a new VR set, you have to look at your hands with a sense of wonder.
When I was explaining to my son what the difference between ducks, geese, and swans was, I relied on his knowledge of Minecraft to get the idea across: Ducks are a passive mob. Geese are a neutral mob. Swans are a hostile mob.
