My brain:

hehe ford dimension...

[–] bigbangdangler@reddthat.com 3 points 1 day ago

I believe this outsold the Toyota Terceleract back in the day.

[–] hansolo@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

Great car. You get in one door, you're already there. Get out the other door, you're on the moon. Great gas mileage.

[–] chemical_cutthroat@lemmy.world 38 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Honestly, that's a steal. It was the last good year of the tesseract on that frame. After that they had nothing but problems with them leaking into fifth dimension space and good luck finding a mechanic that's glimpsed that and is still sane.

[–] bampop@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Typical example of a car manufacturer losing touch with what the public wants. Four dimensional cars were a hard sell, most people didn't really get it. And nobody gives a rat's ass about the fifth dimension except using it as a place to dump their trash.

Other parts of the internet would agree with you

Please don't waste your time with AI 'AI detectors'. Unless there's a synthid or something similar, they're entirely bullshit.

The last thing anyone should ever be using AI for is telling them what is and isn't real/true.

That’s obviously a Missouri plate too and looks credible as someone with one…

[–] Jestzer@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I will admit I didn’t think that maybe the site itself was using AI, and even sources I’ve found saying so aren’t entirely reliable (although I wouldn’t be surprised), so dare I say this wasn’t me denying “common sense.”

[–] Abyssian@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Ah, my bad for being a dick about it. Seeing people asking AI if shit is true/real has gotten so bad I instantly start slamming my head into the desk without pausing to make sure they knew that's what they were doing first.

[–] Jestzer@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

No worries, I appreciate it. The whole situation around AI is just unfortunate, including the arguments about things being AI-generated (or how to tell they are without throwing it back at AI.)

[–] Abyssian@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

If something doesn't have a synthid or similar thing built in to generated images by a very few AI companies then there is no way to tell if image, video, or text was created by AI unless it has an obvious tell, which is getting more and more rare.

[–] KSPAtlas@sopuli.xyz 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

That image is obviously AI though, the bumper on that tesseract is way too small compared to the grass blades

[–] Abyssian@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Possibly. Could be other image editing. Since the picture didn't seem to exist on the internet until a few days ago I imagine it's AI, the entire point is that unfortunately there's no way to be sure unless you know something's provenance.

[–] Drekaridill@lemmy.wtf 3 points 2 days ago

Good to know my ai sense is still somewhat accurate

[–] comador@lemmy.world 30 points 2 days ago (2 children)

How do we know its not totalled from inside its own 4th dimensional space?:

[–] flambonkscious@sh.itjust.works 13 points 2 days ago (2 children)

You'd need a 4d mechanic, wouldn't you?

[–] db2@lemmy.world 20 points 2 days ago

Sorry I retired from that, I only play 5D chess in the park now. Literally inside the park.

[–] Trampampoline@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 days ago

He needed a 4d mechanic, but his car was already repaired, he just wasn't aware of it until it had broken again, but by that time, the 4d mechanic had unionized.

[–] Venator@lemmy.nz 3 points 1 day ago

I wouldn't recommend that model anyway: the crumple zone is your forehead on your 3rd birthday.

"Lemmy has just hit a second tesseract"

Educate yourselves.

A crazy architect talks a dim bulb into building a house based on a tesseract.

High jinx ensue.

[–] jjj@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Super funny except for the casual misogyny which deserves a trigger warning. 60s for you I guess.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

hey! trigger warnings trigger me.

maybe give a trigger warning the next time you're giving a trigger warning.

[–] DagwoodIII@piefed.social 2 points 1 day ago

I can't remember the name of the novel.

It's a horror / thriller set in the Edwardian Era. There is torture, mutilation, cannibalism, human sacrifice, and plain old murder.

The writer felt compelled to give a trigger warning because of some bad words.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

does it come with its own list or will @ptz@dubvee.org force one on me after purchase?

[–] pentastarm@piefed.ca 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yes, but it's hidden in the Ford Service Contract.

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

In a zipped json file hidden as a BASE64 blob.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

it might as well be in the glove compartment of a 1993 ford ranger.

[–] LSNLDN@slrpnk.net 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I’m actually on the list in that dimension not pictured there

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 1 points 1 day ago

So the black list then?

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

i knew that name sounded familiar, but my mind hasn't think in 4 dimensions in a while

[–] Willy@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Remember that time I farted in Seattle?

[–] SourDragon@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

So YOU'RE the shooter!

[–] Zannsolo@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Isn't the 4th dimension time so a tesseract should be a 5th dimension object.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 6 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

A tesseract is a spatial solid and not a temporal one. We don't map cubes in a temporal temporal way, and also when abstracting dimensions the spatial is separate from the temporal so assigning time an ordered number is fairly useless. Why we call the fabric "space-time".

[–] bitteroldcoot@piefed.social 1 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Damnit Bob, i told you not to park there. It's a freaking dimensional vortex you idiot.
