13 all fucking day. We even had the Schwann's guy deliver boxes of them back in the day
What is that?
Schwann's is (was?) a frozen food delivery service. They'd have a big ass freezer truck that they'd drive through the neighborhood making deliveries, and you would get a big catalogue of options to choose from. It was essentially a curated frozen foods section of the supermarket on wheels, and they had some really good stuff.
No idea if they are still around, I certainly don't see the trucks anymore.

the company exists just as a frozen foods company, but is now owned by a south korean conglomerate. when schwans was sold to cj in 2019, the home delivery business was spun-off and still owned by the family. it later went out of business, not long after an absolutely horrible rebrand.

Number 6, I was an ice cream sandwich kinda kid. Number 3 if I wanted to change it up, because it lasted a long time.
Number 6 is my choice too. You get a cookie. You get ice cream. You get chocolate chips! You get Another Cookie! AND YOU GET IT ALL AT ONCE!!!
This made me look back at the ice cream available in my youth, and find what I find is the most iconic year of ice cream here in Sweden:

I was 11/12 years old, and loved the concept of the Winner Taco, but my favorite ice cream back then was the Magnum Ego, it was just amazing!

Those character ones were always malformed mutants never meant to see the light of day. I got my daughter a Sonic ice cream bar and she said it gave her nightmares. I am being serious, and I find it as funny now as I did back then.
