Why not? I've seen that in movies

one time?
Also, tried?! I use the Force to open those little gates in supermarkes all the time.
Oh it's you doing it? My dad lied to me saying it's electronics system. Thanks for your service :)
Dads make up the silliest things.
I carry people up the stairs daily. I lift parking barriers with just a swipe. I successfully pushed a cloud out of the way. I also control the flow of water from a garden hose. My force grip is too strong.
Stand on one hand and lift rocks with your special gift
Exactly. At least every time there’s an automatic door.
They're called forcefields, did they teach you nothing?
I want to upvote this multiple times
One time? Amateurs
Exactly. Got to it before me. Well done.
Nah, there's no such thing as The Force - I used telekinesis.
Me too. It featured heavily in the science fiction pulp novels I read before Star Wars even came out. And now get off my lawn, damn kids!
Tried ?? What do you mean tried ? Do or do not, there is no try
And that is why they failed.
Listen, I was 4 when Empire came out. Of course I did this.
Yesterday.
It still doesn’t work.
Here's the deal: given enough time, it WILL work! I've tried it! See, what I do is I reach my hand out toward the remote and close my eyes and stay there. Sometimes it comes quickly, other times it takes several minutes. But the remote always winds up in my hand.
Sure, it's because either my wife or one of my kids has intuited what I'm trying to do and they walk it over to me. But, hey, I'm still getting the remote to my hand regardless!
Use the force, shoot webs, use telekinesis, launch a kamehameha...
how the fuck y'all moving objects without applying force to them?
It's simple. Been doing it for years. I just put my hand out reaching for the item and eventually my wife or daughter hands it to me.
I also tried using Matilda powers.
Yeah, me too
Admit it? There's not a single commenter here who isn't proud of the effort they put in. I feel like I came pretty close to success myself.
Tried moving things with my mind, shoot a Kamehameha wave, change the outcome of an event with a ritual or some fake BS, water bend in the shower, flicked a wand (and a bean or two), and attempt to be cooler than I am.
All magic that hasn't worked yet still trying
I have tried and failed in a dream at least once, because even when dreaming reality intrudes to make me miserable.
I mean... What if it works? You'd be a fool not to give a shot every now and then.
I did it today, the remote was too far away, so no harm in trying to see if I've accessed the force.
Did it work??
Nah, but I did pass out, so that might be something.
This and earth/water/fire/air bending obviously
Bitch, I tried to make a ball of chi after seeing Gohan teach Videl how to do it
I refuse to believe anyone claiming to have both seen Dragonball anything and not attempted a Kamehameha
Yeah, but I didn't think it was force, just garden variety telekinesis.
not only have I tried, I succeeded!
Duhh, of course. I was quite persistent, actually...
And tried to bend a spoon by convincing yourself it doesn't exist
I keep trying and hoping eventually something will move.
You must be able to use the force for a prostate massage right?
Ropes, I tell you.
No wonder the Jedi order is all about "no love or pleasure" or whatever or they'd get nothing done at all...
Double sliding doors are fun
The remote is too far
Oh I have the worst story about this. I was having this wonderful dream where I had telekinesis and I could do all kinds of awesome stuff. Then my alarm started going off.
After reading Hitchhiker's Guide, me and my cousin tried to fly by jumping off a (low) wall and forgetting that we were falling.
if you run fast enough horizontally you will fall but miss the ground.
We just didn't want to disappoint D.Wader with our lack of faith.
My guy I made myself pass out trying to go super saiyan. Of course I've tried using the force
I tried to move things using my mind. It was before I saw Star Wars though, but the idea was there.
I’ve found I can only do it to automatic doors.
Not the force, but after a long Bioshock session I felt like I should be able to get something from across the room with telekinesis.
