This movie is self congratulatory "leader of the free world" US propaganda. The aliens were stripping planets of natural resources and then moving on and the US was supposed to be the world's uniting force against imperialist aliens? Unbelievable.

The funny thing about this movie is that humans are the virus*, just like aliens explicitly were.

hehe... place where I work has two paid holidays (time and a half) for those that work...

... but cut everybody's hours by juuuuuust enough the week before so that anybody working today won't see an increase in their paycheck.

Different from Avengers where Thanos was based and had good reasons to act
