Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Good thing she got out ahead of it before by randomly announcing apropos nothing that she had nothing to do with it, which as we all know, is an obvious confession that something is coming. You love to see it.

These people are the dumbest cunts to exist.

[–] lechatron@lemmy.today 25 points 3 weeks ago

Reminds me of when I was a kid and my brother and I would try to explain our side of the story first in the hopes we wouldn't get in trouble.

[–] PostaL@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago

No. The dumbest are the ones that keep supporting them.

We might have to rename the Streisand-effect

[–] ruuster13@lemmy.zip 30 points 3 weeks ago

Melanomia - the anticipatory state of paranoia that causes you to inadvertently trigger your own Streisand effect.

[–] orbituary@lemmy.dbzer0.com 55 points 3 weeks ago

This is what her weird, out of the blue announcement a month or so ago was about.

It's already known that Ivana Trump went out with Ghislaine to help bring girls back to Epstein's place.

[–] terranoid@lemmy.cafe 32 points 3 weeks ago

Wtf kind of behavior is that?? It's like some Sauron shit or an old evil fairy tale with a witch queen.

Yesssss the master needs your first born, fetch a youngling

Fucking evil

[–] dellish@lemmy.world 43 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Finally here it is: the thing she weirdly tried to deny a couple of months ago is surfacing.

[–] ProdigiousInsanity@lemmus.org 36 points 3 weeks ago (5 children)

Wait wait wait, I thought this was common fuckien knowledge at this point. Have y'all been fucking sleeping up till now?! WTF!?

[–] Murse@slrpnk.net 34 points 3 weeks ago (3 children)

Dude I can barely remember the scandals that happened just a week ago. The Trump regime is so rapid-fire with this shit you gotta make it second fucking job to stay up to date.

The crimes he's committed that we've forgotten about would have ended an entire political party in a sane world.

I did think she was, but after that unprompted press conference where she specifically said she was not associated with known paedophile "Jeffrey Epstein and his associates" ^TM^ , i realised I'd been wrong about her

She still can barely speak english - who on earth would doubt the fact that she's just a dumb hoe sold to trump?

[–] whatfuvk@lemmy.ml 25 points 3 weeks ago (7 children)

not that I doubt that she is dumb, but using her foreign language ability as a measure of intelligence is definitely racist

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 14 points 3 weeks ago

To be fair, she did get a genius visa so maybe we should expect her to be a little brighter

[–] drmoose@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago

It has nothing to do with language. She's just dumb like that and I wouldn't be surprised she can't speak decent Slovenian either. You can just feel the vapidness radiate from her.

if I just get ahead of things and tell in a press conference that I did not rob a bank, nobody will believe I robbed a bank when evidence comes out that I did rob a bank

Aaahh, the thought patterns of the mentally insane

Zampolli is now a Special Envoy for Global Partnerships and a member of the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees.

No incentive to protect the lie then. And he seems like a kind, friendly fellow. /s

Special Envoy for fuckin’ what??

[–] BigTuffAl@lemmy.zip 17 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

someday some streamer in a hazmat suit is going to point to a shadow on the wall in the Mar-a-Lago exclusion zone and say "the ancient chat says that this one was a concubine of the child eaters"
